Hands down the best Korean fried chicken in LA. I always get the Boneless Buldak—Level 1 has that perfect balance of sweet and spicy, and Level 2 brings a solid kick without being overwhelming. The flavor is deep, crispy, and honestly kind of addictive. Their coleslaw is lowkey underrated too—fresh, tangy, and just the right pairing to the fried chicken. I usually eat them with hot rice from Hmart or whatever I have at home. It’s the kind of food that works for anything: picnic, movie night, hangout with friends, or just a chill day when cooking feels like too much. Also, the owner is super kind!! I usually place an order on the phone. When they miss a call, they shortly call me back.
Great comfort Korean fried chicken within the Hmart. Got the soy chicken and Bulbak lvl 2 (not spicy could have gone to lvl 3). Owner was very accommodating knowing the this was my first time. Great timing for me as the food options in The Line hotel was limited (hotel restaurant was shut for food safety violations)
I got the half-and-half chicken to go — half fried chicken and half Korean-style sweet and spicy chicken. It was so delicious! The inside was soft and juicy, and the outside was super crispy!!! When I usually eat chicken, I can only eat about 2 pieces because of the grease. But this time, I ate almost 6 pieces! There was a little bit left, so I ate it the next day too — and it still tasted good! I finally found a new chicken place in Koreatown!!!
I went to 33 chicken for the first time today and it was the best experience. There was only one worker there but he is the nicest man. It is a very low key/hidden spot and it deserves way more attention. I'm definitely going back there. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE PRAISED !!! I've had a lot of korean chicken but this one is REAL. Crunchy and big portion with reasonable price. Chicken was so juicy !! And the owner here, he is super kind 🥹 Also, don't forget to add coleslaw. It was the best coleslaw I've ever had.
