They offer a discounted first consultation, but in my experience, it felt more like a bait than a genuine benefit. I worked with Yunjae. I was charged even for very brief, non-substantive interactions, including conversations where he was simply asking how I was doing. When I raised concerns about excessive billing, I was then billed for the time spent discussing those complaints as well. After about four months, their hourly rate was increased by approximately 6%, which added further concern. At our initial meeting, I was told my case was very simple and would likely cost around $20,000–$30,000 in total. However, I spent over $10,000 in the first month alone, and that turned out to be only the beginning. Once you start working with this firm, it becomes difficult to switch to another lawyer because doing so would require significant additional cost to restart the case elsewhere. This dynamic clearly works in the firm’s favor. If the outcome had justified the fees charged, I would not be writing this review. Unfortunately, the results did not reflect the level of cost incurred, and much of the work appeared to be reactive—simply responding to requests from the opposing party rather than proactively advancing my case. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this firm.

Going through a separation was incredibly stressful, and Bailey Duller was truly a shining light amid it all. She is incredibly competent, capable, and compassionate. Not only did she continually provide me with incredibly prompt and high quality information and council, she understood the challenges of negotiating with an abusive ex-partner, and how that impacted my concerns and preferred approaches. I was continually impressed by her intellect, professionalism, and even emotional support and validation; qualities I didn't expect to come across in my lawyer. I cannot imagining wading through those murky waters without her, and feel endless gratitude for her. My separation was settled much more quickly, and with much less pain, thanks to Bailey!

Bailey Duller helped me get through a very difficult time in my life. I would definitely recommend her to anyone seeking family law counsel. She is excellent at her job and more importantly she made me feel safe, listened to and really made me feel as comfortable as possible throughout the whole process. In all my experience, one of the worst law firms I've ever had to deal with. Very unprofessional in their communication and end results for the work and billings they dragged out have to be the least efficient I've seen. Would suggest you are cautious if considering them vs other options.
