Before seeing Dr. Wang, many of my symptoms were repeatedly attributed to anxiety. While I understand how complex cases can be challenging, it was deeply validating to finally meet a physician who looked beyond that assumption and took my symptoms seriously. Dr. Wang carefully evaluated my history and recognized that my multi-system symptoms could not be fully explained by anxiety or a single autoimmune diagnosis. She was the first physician to thoughtfully raise the possibility of mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), even though it falls outside her primary specialty. That level of insight and clinical courage is rare. What truly sets Dr. Wang apart is her ability to see patterns, not just lab values. When my prior allergy/immunology evaluation did not align with the clinical picture, she advocated for me and guided me to the appropriate specialist, ensuring true cross-specialty collaboration rather than dismissal. Dr. Wang listens with empathy, explains her reasoning clearly, and treats her patients with respect and intellectual honesty. For patients who have been told “it’s just anxiety,” her approach can be life-changing. I am deeply grateful for her care and cannot recommend her highly enough. She is thoughtful, thorough, and genuinely patient-centered — exactly the kind of physician complex patients hope to find.

어제 빅터 트란 박사님께 진료를 받았습니다. 30년 동안 (과장이 아닙니다. 고등학교 때 스키 사고로 생긴 문제입니다) 무릎 통증으로 고생했는데, 박사님은 정말 꼼꼼하고, 실력도 뛰어나시고, 환자를 진심으로 배려해주시는 분이었습니다. 몇 년 만에 처음으로 제 이야기를 제대로 들어주시는 것 같았습니다. 박사님은 무릎에 주사를 놓아주시고, 여러 가지 검사를 진행해주셨는데, 오늘 무릎 상태가 정말 좋습니다. 박사님 병원에 가기 전에는 거의 걷지도 못할 정도였습니다. 저도 의사라서 담당 의사를 고를 때 굉장히 까다로운 편인데, 트란 박사님은 정말 훌륭한 분이셨습니다. 어제 오후에 제 병원에서 환자들을 진료하는 동안에도 박사님의 시간과 배려에 얼마나 감사한지 계속 생각했습니다. 박사님을 만나게 되어 정말 다행입니다. 박사님의 치료 덕분에 통증이 훨씬 좋아졌습니다. 박사님은 제가 지금까지 만났던 다른 정형외과 의사들이 언급하지 않았던 최근 개발된 새로운 치료법 몇 가지도 알려주셨습니다. 10점 만점에 10점을 드리고 싶을 정도입니다!
