Horrible experience with Dr. Michael Kim. 1. He doesn't have basic manners towards his patients like care, and respect. When I saw him on 8/1/25 for my dark spots, he recommended tretinoin 0.025% two or three times a week. He just told me to apply tretinoin to my face after washing and put some lotion and sun cream. When I told him after washing my face, I put Vaseline the size of one rice on top of lotion to keep my face moisturized. First he said not to put Vaseline, but after I said to him I felt good when I put Vaseline just a little, he said to put Vaseline. I usually don't have that much wrinkles for my age, 72. I get lots of compliments about looking younger. But I wasn't happy about dark spots. That's why I went to see him. After 1 week since I had applied tretinoin, I started noticing white dead skin cells appeared. But those also disappeared with moisturizer and sun cream. I was wondering if dead skin cells comes off, it might make my face thin. I called 1st time after I met him asking the staff about falling off dead skin cells, the staff told me I needed to put moisturizer well . I told the staff, when I didn't put tretinoin, after I put moisturizer, I put Vaseline. She said I shouldn't put Vaseline. I told her I already told the doctor and he said to put it. She said the doctor would call me. When the doctor called me I was about to tell him about coming off dead skin and I put moisturizer to cover them. He didn't listen what I tried to say, but ask me what I need him to do. I mentioned about Vaseline and he said he never said anyone to use Vaseline while he was doctor for so many years. And ordered me not to put Vaseline on my face with such a rude manner. He not only lied that he never told me to put Vaseline, but also humiliated me with such a rude and disrespectful manner. 2. This doctor doesn't even have a knowledge of meds he had prescribed. Since it's almost a month after I applied tretinoin, I wanted to ask him about dead skin cells whether it's harmful to have them coming off, or those dead skin cells help to regenerate my face skin cells. Because other dermatologists say I shouldn't peel off the dead skin cells because dead skin cells are supposed to protect my skin. And I wanted to ask him how long dead skin cells would come out. The staff had him call me again. As I expected he was very rude and on top of that he was very ignorant. When I asked him, whether coming off my dead skin cells are bad or it helps to regenerate my skin cells, he kept on saying he didn't understand my question. And said to me not to use tretinoin anymore. Well then, he shouldn't be a doctor. I had never met this kind of disrespectful and ignorant doctor in my life. I filed the complaint to the grievance department of my insurance company. 1. 여기 의사, Michael Kim 은 환자들에 대한 기본 자세가 안되어있습니다. 무례하고 건방지고 불친절하고. 거기다 거짓말 까지. 제가 바빠서 자세한 내용은 위에 영어 로 쓴 내용을 읽어보세요. 2. 기본 자세가 안되있을뿐 아니라 자신이 처방해 준 약에 대한 지식도 없습니다. 트레티노인 0.025% 처방해주고 한달 쯤후에 전화해서 트레티노인 바른 후 생기는 각질 현상에 대해 물어보면서 트레티노인 바르고 각질이 벗겨지면 피부가 얇아지고 손상 시키는건지, 아니면 각질이 떨어지면서 피부를 재생 시키는건지 물어보니까, 제가 무슨 질문을 하는지 모르겠으니 트레티노인 쓰지말라고 명령 하더군요. 무례하고 거짓말 하는 것도 모자라 자신이 처방해 준 약에 대한 지식도 없는 사람. 이런 사람이 의사면 안되겠죠. 바쁜 와중에도 제 보험회사에 전화해서 불평을 했습니다. 여긴 의사는 나쁜 의사니까, 가지마시길 추천합니다.
Just like one of the patient mentioned below, receptionist or front counter female staff, is so rude and disrespectful. Their behavior towards patients are absolutely unacceptable. You all better realize that patients are not visiting there to be disrespected or scolded. 여기 별점이 왜 낮은지 알려줄까요?? 환자들이 상태가 좋지 않아 걱정되어 찾는 병원이란 곳에서 친절하지 못할거면 다른 직종을 알아봐야 합니다. 물론 그런 태도를 가진 분을 어떤 직장에서 채용할지는 모르겠지만요... 진심으로 조언드리고 싶네요, 물론 무례한 환자분들도 가끔 있겠죠, 그러나 대다수의 환자들은 본인의 상태가 걱정되서 치료를 받기위해 방문한다는걸 인지하고 위로는 못할망정 다그치거나 무시하지 마세요. Patient를 어떻게 대해야 하는지 더 깊이 배우고 공부하시기를 권장합니다.

엘에이에는 피부과가거의없다 치과는 엄청많으면서 그건 결국의술에대한 선택과신뢰가좁아진다 이곳도 그냥 아가씨 아주머니들 얼굴피부전문인가보다 한달넘게 약을먹었지만 증상이나아지질안는다 내증상에대해서 전문지식이없어보이눈걸 너무느꼈다 결국뉴욕으로가보려한다
