This was my first time coming to this location. I actually enjoyed it. The service was great. Everyone was super friendly and attentive. They made sure our table was taken care of. They constantly kept asking if we needed any of our Banchans refilled and meat. Everything was delicious. Then again we came before everyone coming in during lunch. The place was clean. The fact they have soft serve yogurt is great after you have your meal. I would highly recommend this place. Don't know why other people had a bad experience. But to each of their own. You can tell when you come here their pretty popular. So best time to come would be when they open. Thanks for having us=]. Fast. Affordable and yummy
This restaurant has become one of my favorite places to come to when I'm in the area. Im not a local so when I do have the opportunity to eat here, I dont pass up on it. Meat quality is excellent and staff is very friendly. I understand that they get very busy and attentiveness will sometimes fall short but that comes with the traffic. Peter attended to us on our last visit and was a walking example of attentiveness to all our needs and went above and beyond with his service. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.
I recently visited Shik Do Rak for some Korean BBQ, and overall it was a solid and flavorful experience. The restaurant offers a good variety of meats, traditional sides, and classic BBQ fun that really delivers on taste
I've visited this location before, but my experience on 2/14/26 night was completely unacceptable due to terrible management and a lack of basic communication. Our group of 4 arrived at 11:15 PM and was seated immediately. Despite the slow service for our first two rounds of meat, we were told "last call" at 11:45 PM. We specifically asked if we could order a double round of meat; the server agreed and brought it out a few minutes later along with the check. We paid immediately, assuming we'd have time to actually eat what we just bought. Then at around 12:05 AM, a female host came to our table and told us, "Just so you know, we are closed now and you guys have a few minutes to eat." This was incredibly shocking considering we hadn't even had the chance to put the last round of meat on the grill yet. At 12:15 AM--barely an hour after we arrived--the server returned and told us, "Sorry, we are closed now and you guys need to go." We stood our ground, pointing out that we had just paid for all these meat, so we must eat them. "Well if you want, you can talk to our owner" --" Sure tell him to come see us", in which the server left and came back saying the owner "granted" us 15 more minutes. By that point, the atmosphere was ruined. We felt harassed and disturbed while trying to shove down food we had rightfully paid for. There was zero heads-up about a strict time limit when they accepted our last-call order. If a restaurant isn't going to let customers finish the food they just paid for, they shouldn't accept orders 15 minutes before closing. They made sure we paid and tipped before kicking us out with no valid reason. This was a display of horrible management and unfriendly dining environment. The owner couldn't even come out to talk to us. I highly recommend NOT eating here.
