This is one of my favorite mom-and-pop restaurants, offering simple and nostalgic vibes. I’ve been coming here from TX for the past five years; it’s been always my go-to spot when I’m in town. Owners’ warm hospitality never fails to make me feel at home. Sweet shrimp is typically available from February depending on availability. Their sea urchin rice and kimchi are truly exceptional. They added an English menu and charmingly designed illustrations not too long ago as shown below. Definitely worth a visit!

Their speciality is the halibut sashimi -- super fresh and with amazing texture. It's also a lot, so bring friends! The sides and other seafood was okay.

It is not a fancy sashimi restaurant but my husband and I love going here whenever we have a craving for a korean style sashimi. We ordered 활어 combo A for 2 people, which was great. I highly recommend this place.

Sashimi is so fresh and hot spicy stew is one of my favorite. Very friendly servers and love the vibe they have.

This place is definitely legit when it comes to fresh live fish — super fresh, no doubt about it! Not too many side dishes (banchan) though. Alcohol isn’t served, so you’ll need to buy it from the liquor store next door. The bathroom… yikes. Definitely needs improvement. Overall, it’s the kind of spot where people either love it or hate it — strong mixed opinions depending on what you’re looking for.
