To be honest, when I searched for this sushi restaurant on Google, I was excited to try. But when I tasted my first soup, I knew I was a little disappointed. The portion was a bit small. The sauce for the Teriyaki salmon was not tasty at all. The fried squid rings were small and scarce. Normally, Ramen is my boy’s favorite. But the Gyokai(seafood)ramen, my boy only tried and didn’t like it at all. At 7 p.m., there were only 3 tables of guests. won't come again.
Great fish, amazing rolls. Love the nigiri and everything was so fresh. Server was very attentive and we were never in need of anything. Love the ambiance too! Highly recommend!!
This is our go to Sushi place now since social distancing started. Of the many many times we've gone here, they've always prepared well made Sushi and excellent quality for the price. Is it the best sushi restaurant ever? No. But we can't shell out $200+ every week or so for that kind of sushi. But for around $50, you can get a pretty decent meal for 2 at this place with really good quality for the price. We used to go to Sai in Yorba Linda but the last few times we went, they changed their portion sizes and didn't enforce social distancing for their patrons or even at the bar right next to where they were preparing the food. We've had no such experience here. In this area, if you can get quality sushi for a decent price, that's a steal. The last time I went, I noticed the mood of the staff was a bit somber and the chef seemed despondent. I really hope it doesn't mean they're suffering from lack of patrons. I hope the community continues to support them so they continue to stay in business. I highly recommend their vegetable tempura and rainbow roll!
Sushi and vibes are always immaculate ✨ love coming here with family. This place is the epitome of local dining and an absolute gem. Sushi is phenomenal, excellent service and great atmosphere
Some friends took here. They eat here all the time. We ate so much because everything was sooo delicious!!
