Even if you spot a line outside, it moves fairly quickly, plus the meal is absolutely worth the wait. Their pork katsu stands out with its crisp exterior, juicy center, rich flavor, generous serving size, plus a level of quality that’s rare to find. It reminded me of classic katsu spots overseas, which is high praise. I’d return without hesitation.
Tried the cheese katsu and chicken yaki udon, both were really good! The katsu was crispy with gooey cheese inside, and the yaki udon was flavorful with tender chicken. Portions were generous, service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. Great spot for comforting Japanese food.
Excellent fish Katsu (Black Cod). It’s good when dipped in the curry. Perfect amount of crisp and definitely crunchy. We ordered a couple since it was a must-try! Chicken Katsu was good too, but it seemed like the fish Katsu won everyone over. It came with a miso soup and it was really good. The Agedashi tofu was just okay in my opinion, but family really enjoyed it so maybe 50/50. The potato croquettes were delicious. This place is definitely known for their Katsu. Depending on when you come, it gets packed so might have to come a bit in advance.
The ultimate Korean-style donkatsu place with reliably large portions and a complete offering. The food and service is consistently impeccable, and everyone I’ve brought here has always been impressed and left beyond satiated. I really love their signature tonkatsu sauce with is creamier than a traditionally Japanese one.
We’ve eaten here multiple times, service and ambience all both great. Always my go to when I’m craving curry katsu may it be pork or chicken, portions are great and presentation is always beautiful. I’d recommend for hungry curry lover, price is worth the portion and cravings always satisfied!
