Met up with some friends for first time here. The restaurant is like mom and pop's, nothing fancy or big dinner. Any way, 1. Gyoya: 4/5 - very crispy and tasty. Cant tell if there is any meat in it but tasty. 2. Udon: 2/5 - nothing special, just udon noodles and broth basically. 3. Spicy tuna rolls: 2/5 - plain, not spicy at all, off flavored and cant tell what it is... 4. Crunchy rolls: 3/5 - was good, better than the spicy tuna rolls. 5. Karaage: 3.5/5 - good, tasty and crispy, good flavors but abit dry for my taste. The restaurant was not busy but service was pretty slow...
I ordered 1 regular udon and 1 gyudon. However instead of a gyudon they gave me a katsudon. While the katsudon tasted good and was one of the better ones I've had, I had to take off 1 star for the wrong order. I was looking forward to the gyudon. As for the udon, it was tasty. Was the udon worth the price? Id say maybe? The katsudon worth the price of i had originally ordered it? Yeah I would think so. Place is good just beef to work on getting the order right. It's kind of hidden on. A small street.

It’s not a flashy place—no trendy decor or Instagram gimmicks—but what it does offer is something harder to find: food that tastes like it was made for regulars, not tourists. Their udon is the star: rich, clean broth that’s soothing and satisfying, especially on a cool day. The noodles are perfectly chewy, and the toppings are always fresh. I’ve probably ordered the shrimp tempura udon a dozen times and it’s been consistent every visit. Sushi here is simple, not overcomplicated. It’s not the place for high-end toro or uni, but their rolls are well-balanced and generous for the price. The Han Nam roll is a personal favorite—just enough spice, just enough crunch. The staff? Quiet but kind. Service is efficient without being rushed. It feels like a family place, the kind of spot you come back to after a long day just to eat something that makes you feel okay again. Bottom line: If you want fancy plating or fusion frills, this isn’t it. But if you appreciate simple, honest food with real flavor, Han Nam might become your favorite too.
My go to place for udon for years back when they were located inside hannamchain supermarket. I love their udon and Jessica roll.
Delicious food served with love. For lunch, I I had the cold soba noodles with crispy shrimp tempura. A bowl of hot udon broth was served as a free appetizer. As good as the soba and tempura were, this hot bowl of soup was my favorite part of today’s lunch.
