Wow, I honestly don’t really know what to say. I’ve never had Korean food like this. I thought I’ve had everything that Korean food could offer living in ktown. But I was very wrong. This place felt like I just went to my Korean cousins house and his aunt just served us dinner. Not really sure how else to explain it. It was quite a unique experience, and you might be alone by the price, but do not fear. It is very filling and quite unique to say the least.

Truly one of the best meals I’ve had in my life. This is on par with what I’ve had in Jeju and even better than food I’ve had in Seoul. Service was warm and friendly as well. Only thing to take note is that the servings are HUGE and you need to order one set per person. The amount and quality of food is totally worth the price you pay for.

Time of visit - 11am Wednesday Order - course meal ($35 per person) at least 2 people needed. Would not recommend this place if you intend to dine alone. Portions are large. Food - every single dish reminds me of rural South Korea. I loved every single dish down to the last drop of plum dessert drink. If you haven’t had food from rural Korea, you may find the food here bland with unfamiliar flavors so this place cannot be enjoyed by everyone. But if you remember the taste of grandma cooking back in Korea you would love this place. Service is excellent when the place is not full of people. The most popular menu item is the course meal so expect delays when the place is packed.

I'm glad I tried it, but don't feel compelled to visit again. We arrived just past noon and our rice arrived room temp, our soups quickly reached room temp, and the entire meal felt very rushed and not particularly special given the high cost/person. As mentioned previously, the food quality reminded me of a Korean school cafeteria! That said, the ladies who work there are very kind and nice. Parking in the small shared lot behind the restaurant can be a challenge.

Been here a few times and always order the set menu with barley rice — such a memorable experience with a feast of banchan, warming soups, and even the cutest dessert plates! The environment also mirrors the food experience, so many traditional Korean details everywhere. Only downsides are the often rude service and high prices but the food quality makes up for anything!
