This Korean restaurant rivals A Ri Rang for the best banchan I have ever had. The value and food is insane. Huge portions, amazing side dishes with lots of variety, authentic and delicious. They have lots of seating but still a waitlist during busy times. Staff are friendly and efficient. Overall fantastic Korean restaurant.
A Must-Try Spot for Korean Comfort Food ✨ My husband decided to have me try something new today, and I’m so glad he did! He’s been here multiple times and absolutely loves it so this time, it was my turn to see what all the hype was about. As soon as we arrived, there was a line out the door (always a good sign!), but the wait moved quickly thanks to their digital sign-in pad. Just note they don’t take reservations, so you’ll want to show up in person. The moment I walked in, I knew I was in for something good. The place was buzzing with energy and smelled incredible. The variety of banchan (Korean side dishes) was so fun to explore from their crisp cucumber salad to flavorful kimchi and even a deep-fried fish that was surprisingly good. They also had fish cakes that were delicious and a cold mashed potato salad with raisins that was... interesting. Not my favorite since I usually prefer my mashed potatoes hot and savory, but I appreciated the creativity! For my meal, I ordered the Teriyaki Combo with mild tofu soup, while my husband went for the Bulgogi Combo with “Danger” spice level. The tofu soup was comforting and flavorful, and I really enjoyed the texture of the tofu itself. Next time, I’ll definitely go for the spicy version — the mild had great flavor but no heat. The beef option in the tofu soup added a nice richness too. My husband’s Bulgogi was delicious honestly, I preferred it over the teriyaki chicken. Despite being labeled “Danger,” the spice level was very manageable, even for someone who doesn’t usually go for super spicy food. Service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff was warm, attentive, and quick to refill our water and side dishes. The restaurant itself was spotless, organized, and had a cozy family-friendly feel yet it would totally work for a casual date night too. I also loved the TV screens showing how some of the dishes are prepared such a cool touch! Overall, I’d give this place a solid 10/10. Simple menu, fantastic service, amazing food, and an all-around inviting atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back and try something new next time!
My favorite menu items here are the Raw Marinated Crab and LA Galbi! For the soft tofu stew, I highly recommend the Assorted, Dumpling, or Beef options. The Gopchang stew was a bit underwhelming for me. Spice Level Guide: • Level 1: Clean and mild. • Level 2: Similar to Shin Ramyun. • Level 3: Very spicy with a strong chili aroma. ★ Pro Tip: If you want to enjoy Nurungji (scorched rice water) at the end, make sure to ask for hot water for your stone pot!
Very overpriced and overhyped. Food is ok, but should not be this expensive for simple veggies and rice. Expect a wait time as they are super busy even later in the night. The Mexican waitress spilled some hot Sauce on my by accident as well and did not apologize. But I think it’s because she did not know English.
Consistently Excellent Service every visit for the past years we have been here ! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Keep up the good work ! Delicious Korean Foods especially the hot tofu soup during cold weather ! Highly recommended to have your meal here ! Just comfort foods & excellent service !
