One of my absolute favorite Korean soft tofu places in the OC. The service is quick and prompt. They have a great selection of Banchan and change it up from time to time. Prices are super reasonable. I always order fried shrimp (I love the coconut flavor and not greasy at all & always hot!), kimchi tofu soup with pork at very spicy spicy level with galbi ribs and of course soju & beer. Also they added self-ordering at the table which is super cool especially if you are hungry and ready to go!!!!
Sunday 3/8/26 Lunch at Kaju Soft Tofu Restaurant in Irvine with my sister. Ordered the beef and oysters tofu soups and bulgogi beef sizzling plates with complimentary Korean side dishes: spicy sliced cucumbers, Kim chi, champ Che, bean sprouts, little fishes, and potato salad with lots of free refills, yeah!!! The foods were delicious and made just the right amount of spiciness. Trevor, our serving staff, was amazing; being attentive to our needs of refilling the side dishes and making sure we are happy. Trevor was friendly, hard working, and worked quickly to serve all the customers. With his personality, I already know he will have a successful future anywhere he works at. Keep up the good work and positive vibe. Thank you Trevor. The restaurant decor was nice and very clean with upgraded technology; tablets for ordering and robot to assist in bringing out the dishes. I did really like the kimchi beef soup. The soups are served in cast-iron hot pots, so they are boiling when they arrive at the table. If you’re not accustomed to spicy Korean food, I would suggest going no higher than medium on the spiciness. Otherwise, you may turn into a flame-breathing dragon, lol. The bulgogi was also fresh and very good. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves Korean cuisine.
Came here because I wanted to something different than BCD. I’m born and raised in korea, food here is authentic! Atmosphere is great, I liked the robot that delivered food. Staff is very attentive. Will come again!
Had a wonderful meal here with our family. They were able to accommodate a baby with a stroller by getting us a table in a corner. Everything we ordered tasted amazing and the side dishes were refilled generously and without having to ask. They came to check on us multiple times and made sure we were happy with our meal. Everyone helped and served us with a smile so it made a lasting impression. Thank you!
