My first time trying Tang N Tang. First impression: the dish I ordered was the Galbijim. Overall I give it a 6.2/10. They claim there's tteokbokki in the dish but they put the oval shaped rice cakes in it which was totally fine but there were about a total of 8 pieces in it. The galbi was sorta tough and chewy not tender. They also put what I believe was squash in it. No good! Mushrooms were OK, potatoes... There were like 3 pieces of potato in it. I should've just went to LA's Sun Nong Dan like I wanted to for this dish.
My friend brought me to this place and I was excited to try. I ordered the tonkatsu and rice cake/dumpling soup. Not gonna lie, my expectations were shattered. I can't go back to my usual spot to enjoy the soup and tonkatsu anymore. Soup was so flavorful and tasty, the dumpling was massive, the tonkatsu is enormous. For the price, it was worth it. Would come back here again.
This was hands down the best pork cutlet I have had in the US. It was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender inside, and paired with a sauce that complemented it beautifully. Every bite was satisfying and full of flavor. The cold noodles were refreshing and well balanced, and the stir fried pork was just as impressive. Everything we ordered exceeded expectations. On top of the amazing food, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I left feeling completely satisfied and excited to return.
Over the weekend, I visited this restaurant, and it was packed with Koreans, which made me think this place must be authentic! According to my Korean friends, eating tteokguk (rice cake soup) is like how we eat longevity noodles — having a bowl adds another year to your life! ✨ Braised Beef Ribs The braised beef ribs here are different from what I’ve had at other Korean restaurants. Instead of the cheesy style, it’s more like the Gangnam-style soy-braised ribs. The flavor leans sweet, and the ribs are so tender that they fall off the bone and melt in your mouth. The seasoning is absolutely spot-on, and personally, I find it much tastier than the spicy cheesy ribs. The portion is huge — three people could easily have two meals out of it! Plus, this version is totally non-spicy, so even kids can enjoy it to the fullest. ✨ Pork Backbone Potato Soup This has always been one of my favorite Korean dishes, especially in winter. Sipping the warm broth is so comforting! The soup comes in a hot stone pot, steaming and full of flavor, with around four big chunks of pork backbone. The potatoes are stewed until perfectly soft. Pairing the soup with rice is pure happiness! ✨ Beef Bulgogi Hot Pot This one was ordered especially for the kids. The broth is on the sweeter side, making it perfect to go with rice. In winter, there’s nothing better than enjoying warm, hearty soups at a Korean restaurant! There are so many other dishes on the menu that look amazing too. I’ll definitely come back to try more next time!
Speechless. This place exceeds every expectation. If you’re looking for truly authentic Korean cuisine, I highly recommend it!
