This was actually a Brazilian Steak house prior to this restaurant taking over and was really run down. I have never seen so many customer before until they opened up. Now the place is renovated and has the most awesome mural inside. The staff is so kind and the portions are so large. I love coming across authentic food places that stay true to their passed down recipes. They are incorporating new Togo lunch boxes and they are absolutely perfect to take on the go. Yes the place is hard to find, not their fault, the parking does get packed, and that is because they are so good and authentic. The manager is absolutely such a sweetheart and the owner honestly cooks the food himself with his staff and always has a huge beautiful smile on his face. Do not skip out on getting a cafe to top off your meal. Of course prices are high, you can thank our government for that, quality products are not cheap.
A new local Korean restaurant that’s clean and spacious inside with a good selection of dishes and friendly employees. Food tasted great and they came out fast after we ordered (within 10 minutes). We went on a Thursday around noon for lunch, and there were a few tables of Korean guests there dining already. Overall a good neighborhood spot for authentic Korean soups and meats.
The food here was absolutely terrible. I ordered soon tofu stew and Galbi Jjim, but although the food may seem delicious just by the view, the taste was horrible. The stew and both galbi jjim were extremely bland and there was absolutely zero flavor to it. Especially the soon tofu stew just tasted like a mixture of tofu, water, and chilli powder, like I said "zero" flavor. Also, the server was not nice at all. I felt like she was just constantly trying to start a fight with us. Before our food came out, she already had the side dishes set up on the counter and it was just sitting there in open air for 30 minutes, eating dust, while our main menu was cooking. So we asked her politely if it would be okay for us to just get the side dishes and rice first, and she refused to give it to us. So we said okay, that's perfectly fine we will just wait until you serve it with our main dishes. But after that interaction, every time she came by our table she would nag and complain to us by saying we usually serve the side dishes with the main food probably a total of three time. She kept complaining even though we let her know that we understand. She was just absolutely stupid and disrespectful.
cold noodles and pork dumplings - so good. worth a visit! got the buckwheat noodle with spicy sauce - wasn’t really spicy, so it’s manageable for anyone!
Classic Korean food cooked extremely well - some rarer menu items you don't normally see also such as the soy bean paste rice (which is amazing) Great food, attentive staff, and lovely ambiance! Would go again
