Ji’s Cake is pure perfection. The design was absolutely stunning—elegant, thoughtful, and beautifully crafted. But what truly impressed me was that the cake tasted just as amazing as it looked. The strawberries were incredibly fresh and naturally sweet, and the cake itself was moist, light, and so delicious. It’s rare to find a cake that nails both aesthetics and flavor at this level. Truly a treat for the eyes and the palate. Highly, highly recommended!
I am so happy with the cupcakes for my husband’s 50th birthday celebration. Each cupcake wonderfully represented a hobby or interest of his. Our party guests were blown away with the artistry!! And they tasted phenomenal! Vanilla, chocolate, and red velvet were all fabulous. We won’t hesitate to order again in the future!
Overpriced for what you get—mostly plastic, not pastry art. I have mixed feelings about my experience here. While the cake design looked great at first glance, I cannot recommend this business given the $400 price tag for a 6-inch cake. The design is "pretty," but it is misleading. Almost all the decorations were non-edible plastic ornaments, paper printouts, and pre-made models rather than handcrafted sugar work or fondant. For this price, I expected artisanal craftsmanship, not a collection of plastic balls and paper toppers. Once you strip away the non-edible parts, you are left with a basic chiffon cake that tastes no different from a $40 cake at a standard Asian bakery. The massive markup seems to be for the "styling" of plastic toys rather than the actual baking or artistry. It felt like paying a premium for a cake that I had to "disassemble" just to eat.

Chef Ji is incredible. I ordered a New Year’s cake, and what I received was not only a cake, but a real piece of art. It was so pretty that I hesitated for a long time to cut it after taking photos. Guess what. Its taste exceeded even its beauty! The buttercream was the best ever. Try the blueberry cream cake; it was the best cake I had ever eaten.
