Yum yum yum!!! As I was craving my morning coffee I thought I come and check out Paris Baguette which is located inside Hannam Chain Supermarket in Torrance. My goal was to be in and out within 5 mins with coffee in hand. But that absolutely did not happen. Instead, I was surrounded by all of these yummy looking treats. I mean, there were delicious cakes, sweet breads with different fillings, this amazing looking croissant with strawberries and cream and more! My eyes and mouth were so confused on which one to get. At this point, the coffee was the last thing on my mind. I’m sure the employees there were looking at me as if I was crazy because I literally walked around the glass case about 5/6 times debating on the sweet cream chocolate filling bread or the croissant with the sweet cream with the ruby red strawberries. Well, as bad as I wanted the croissant, I did go with the bread with the sweet chocolate cream because I was eating on the go and this choice seemed a lot less messy. After about 12 minutes figuring that out, I finally ordered an iced vanilla latte. The latte was great and my chocolate filled bread was even better! I left very happy and satisfied. By the way, this was a 15min experience lol.
A clean and welcoming place with a great variety of baked goods. The food is delicious, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Glad to find delicious cakes!
You used to be located at The Redondo Shores location by the Whole Foods and then closed suddenly. Imagine to my delight you are now in a Korean market on Hawthorne Blvd by the Del Amo Mall. I always enjoyed your fresh pastries there and my first time at this location. The young , short Latina girl working Wednesday night (2/18/26) was the most miserable, unfriendliest employee cashier I've ever encountered. Her scowl almost drove me away but I love your sweet delights offered, although the selection was limited due to only an hour left until close. Considering my 14 hour day working and rushing to get there due to my excitement, she ruined my evening with her sour demeanor. Not so much a thank you or can I help you decide or any questions I might have. Just disinterested and rude. She also had zero clue what a baguette was and thank goodness the other young lady knew your products and the prices. I'll chuck her laziness due to perhaps the late hour on a Wednesday evening. I hope to be greeted by sweet young ladies next time when I visit with friends or order a cake for my office. My purchases were divine though and no complaints there.
I visited on Day 2 of them being open. The selection was terrific. All the pastries and breads looked beautiful. I chose for my lunch an egg salad sandwich from the cold case. The selection there was a little skimpy, but it is only Day 2, so maybe it will increase. I had also a raspberry fruit bite pastry, which was a perfect little treat after lunch. I definitely will be back to try more of their items. The ham and cheese croissant looked particularly good as a lunch option, or even breakfast. In addition to the baked goods and food, they offer coffee, espresso drinks and teas.
I first discovered Paris Baguette when I visited Seoul, South Korea, and I’ve been a fan ever since. This location offers excellent pastries and coffee, a warm and inviting atmosphere, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Highly recommended!
