The owner was super friendly! They did not only havr ttuk (they call it rice cake but it's technically not a cake so we need to use something else like how Japanese uses mochi for their chewy rice thingy - how about ttok like tik tok? Lol so the pronunciation is easier. Idk lol) but they had kimbap, special noodles, kitchen, mandoo, and etc.
I stopped by to ask when they usually make a fresh batch of porridge, but the staff were surprisingly rude and dismissive. It was clear they weren’t interested in helping me, probably because I wasn’t buying much. Their attitude made me feel ignored and devalued as a customer. I’ve always believed good service should be given to everyone, no matter how big or small their order is. This experience really left a bad impression.
This bakery used to serve the customers very well. However, during recent years, I observed the package size reductions and price increases. I personally can accept the price increase, but the package size reduction makes me feel that this bakery is not honest. I still think the quality of the food is ok.
Affordable and delicious authentic Korean rice cakes. Definitely recommended and will be back :)
