UPDATE: After Days of going back and forth, Bodyfriend finally picked up the massage chair, but we are still waiting on the refund. What’s worse—yesterday May 15 they been calling us all morning to told they wouldn’t pick it up unless we removed the negative review, which is clearly unethical. During the pickup, they even presented us with a letter (see attached photo) attempting to silence us as customers, basically stating that if we ever speak negatively again, they might take legal action. We never signed that letter. Instead we create a clear one just as proof they pick it up in Perfect condition as it was! Resume I purchased a massage chair expecting comfort and healing—but instead, I ended up in pain. The chair failed to deliver what it promised, even after trying all the settings. It made things worse, not better. When I reached out to return it, Bodyfriend started giving me a hard time—refusing to make it easy and insisting on charging me a 20% restocking fee. That’s a huge amount, especially for a product that didn’t work for me and actually caused discomfort. If I’m returning it because the chair failed to meet my needs, why should I be penalized for it? This is supposed to be a luxury wellness product, but the service and treatment I received were far from that. Think twice before you invest in something this expensive—because if it doesn’t work out, you might be stuck with more stress, more pain, and a company that shows no care once they have your money. This it my experience with them unfortunately I don’t have a good one to share Important note: I was still within the 30-day return window when I made my request. The location of purchase was in Buena Park, but the company responsible is Bodyfriend Inc.,

I purchased the mint color Highkey massage chair and I’ve been using it everyday. So far I love it!!! It’s been my go-to place to relax after a long day of work. The massage chair functions are simple and easy to use. Plus the mint color looks super cute!

Phantom II massage chair is just amazing! My family had couple massage chairs in the past and i always thought massage chairs are just good for the moment you are on it and does nothing dramatic to your body. But this massage chair is something different. I liked the fact that it scans your body first so that it knows exactly where to stimulate my body. it even stretches my body. I work on my feet most of my days and my body is always bent forward but this massage chair really made the difference in my daily life since it loosens my back muscles and stretches my body backward. Also, i'm writing this review to thank the employee at this Buena Park location because she was very professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. She was able to tell me which one fits my family better and etc. Thank you

Do NOT buy anything from this company and especially this store. We bought the Palace 2 chair about a month ago. Within the first few days of using the chair, our entire family of 5, separately came to the conclusion that during the Good morning, Good night, Neck and Shoulder, Refresh etc. modes, that the roller seemed to get stuck and make a loud noise as it went over that area, causing the head to shake. We asked the technician to come out twice and insisted that this was part of the "chopping" action of the chair or that our fat was in the way of that roller. We then escalated to the manager of the Buena Park shop, whom we actually bought the chair from and went to the store to see if this could be fixed. The manager said that they realized this was an issue and said they would escalate to headquarters. A few days later, he then called and said never mind, it's not a defect and this is purely based on your preference as a customer. I'm sorry, I didn't realize that a roller getting stuck and causing the head to seriously shake was a matter of "preference". I then asked, as it's listed in the contract, that since this is a defect that they refused to fix, that we be refunded for the chair or at the very least have the machine swapped out for a new one. They refused!! They continued to insult me and my family saying it was most likely our fat that was causing this (we are not a "big" family mind you), and that this was purely our preference so they refused to budge. This company is ONLY interested when they sell you things and will not care about you as a customer afterwards. There are plenty of other massage chair companies, go with one of them and save yourself a massive headache. Crooked business methods and useless employees working there.

I visited this store a few weeks ago to try Bodyfriend chairs and compare other brand chairs. The store manager (Mr. Yoo) was very knowledgeable about the products and answered all my questions and concerns professionally. He was also kind and help customer to choose the right massage chair. Easy parking, clean store, and great customer service. Thank you.
