Excellent service. I just walked in and was served right away. Junhui Park Joo was friendly, kind, and thorough. I was worried that seeing a notary might be stressful or difficult, but Joo made it a professional and informative experience. We worked together, step by step, to get everything done that we needed to get done. Would recommend this place to anyone who needs a notary public. (An aside for Canadians in similar situations: I stopped by because I needed to get a Canadian passport made but did not have a guarantor. The Canadian consulate wasn't offering notarial services at the time and let me know that we could use a local notary public to act as an official if we do not have a guarantor. So Joo acted as my official to fill out "PPTC 132 - the Statutory Declaration in Lieu of Guarantor." Make sure to read the application form thoroughly, have all your paperwork and photos ready, and double-check as you go with the notary so that everything is filled out and you have all the signatures you need.)
LA Notary is on the 2nd floor suite 205 (they used to be on the 6th floor but now the second floor). Clean office, professional, quickly got my legal document notarized. They even scanned the documents to my email to have a PDF attachment.
Almost all the notaries are $15 per document. This place is no different. It wasn't that difficult to find, just go in the building and go to the 6th floor. I was able to find street parking outside so no issue. You can also park in target and walk over, and just get a validation after buying something at target. Service was very fast, no-one else in front of me, no appointment needed. They are also open later than other places. They were able to offer me a discount for doing a yelp review, so greatly appreciated! Would go back if needed notary service again!
I went there for notary service and they were very courteous and fast. I highly recommend.
Reliable: the notary was available during business hours, profession, courteous, and that seems to be a pretty high bar considering there were notary publics in Westlake who left before the end of business hours or were permanently closed. I had to walk half a mile further from my house, but I was able to get business taken care of.
