I strongly recommend exercising caution before hiring this attorney. At first, the conversation feels reassuring — you're told not to worry, that your case should be resolved smoothly and at a reasonable cost. But once you're on board, the story changes. The fees keep increasing, step by step, and before you know it, you’re paying significantly more than initially quoted — far more than what most other attorneys would charge for similar work. Despite the high cost, much of the actual work isn’t even done by the attorney you hired. Instead, it's handed off to another attorney (who is not only less expensive but also seems to do most of the heavy lifting). The attorney you meet initially seems to function more like a marketer than someone who will be deeply involved in your case. This attorney specializes in employment law, specifically representing employers — not employees — so if you're on the employee side, be extra cautious. In my experience, once a certain amount of money was collected, the level of service dropped significantly, and the results were disappointing, especially when measured against the cost. If an attorney is hired and paid to represent a client, he should at least makes an effort on the client’s behalf. However, there was no real effort — just a formal, drawn-out process that ultimately seemed to benefit the opposing party instead. Unfortunately, I’ve learned the hard way that there are lawyers who operate like this — but I honestly didn’t expect to fall into that trap myself. Don’t waste your valuable time and money like I did.
Hands down best attorney I have ever worked with and one of the nicest and most genuine person I have ever met. Before meeting Mr.Joo, I have dealt with many other attorneys. It always been awful and frustrating. Lack of communications, sloppy work etc., Mr.Joo is complete opposite. Doesn't treat his client like a number nor make you feel rushed. Whenever I have any legal matter, I right away goto Mr.Joo without thinking twice.
