I’ve gotten my car check here several times since I moved to LA for over 4 years, I love being able to come to a woman of color to get help with my car. She’s trustworthy, communicates clearly about what’s happening with your car and she’s as pretty affordable. I hold a lot of respect for how well she does her job and how attentive she is.

I did a smog check, and the service was terrible they ware looking for any reason, to fail the test they ware looking for money extra , i think they look for reasons to offer you to fix it and get more money, don't take your car to this place . And the lady she was so roude. There's many other places better,

Abel and his team are absolutely amazing!!!! The only mechanic I can actually trust and I know he's not just trying to rip me off. He tries to give me the best deals possible and is very communicative. I originally found them through a search for SMOG locations and he was the closest one! In order for me to pass, I needed a few repairs done and they were able to get my Toyota in and out without a hassle. They also are recommended through BAR which helps pay for auto repairs. They are extremely efficient and will take great care of your vehicle. I recently bought a Chevy that started having steering fluid leakage. I took it to them, they were able to quickly figure out the issue, get the parts in super fast, and I had my car back in about 3 days (might've been faster if I didn't take it close to the weekend lol). Highly recommend Venice Auto Care if you want friendly service, short repair times, SMOG certification, and more! :) Also, they are open on Saturdays, which is such a plus. Thank you guys!!!

I sent my fiance today to get a old tire changed for a new one we supplied and they charged her 48 bucks for the simple service and for their mistake. We brought in our own tire which they did swap out for but they decided to patch up the old tire which we did not request them to do. Instead of accepting their mistake they requested 20 for the mounting of the new tire, forced us to pay 25 bucks to patch an old tire that we did not plan to reuse and 3 dollar to scrap said tire. It was originally broken down like that but then they changed the price to pretend the mounting was actually 45 bucks which is a ridiculous amount for a mounting. Buyers beware.
