I was ready to throw my Audi A3 in the trash due to the frequency of issues I was having with it and how much it cost to repair each thing. Then I found Bill and his shop and I'm planning on keeping my car for years to come - he has consistently helped me correct issues that THE DEALERSHIP misdiagnosed and done so often for less than the price he initially quoted me. A perfect example was an oil leak - Audi service center told me my oil pan was cracked and gave me a rough quote of $1,800-2,000 to have it replaced; Bill actually took the time to look into it and discovered it was just a seal that needed to be replaced and ended up only costing me a few hundred bucks. Also very impressed with his knowledge of German cars, I had been to so many mechanics that knew less about Audis than I do which did not inspire confidence. Bill knows his stuff and offers great advice and insight into how your car works, things to watch out for, and ways to correct engineering flaws. I cannot recommend this shop enough and I will only be going here for repairs in the future!
I've been taking my Audi A3 here to Mr. Bill for the last few years, he is an amazing and honest mechanic. He stands by his work and doesn't overcharge. I've had a tricky issue with my coolant that was more Audi's design fault, and he was kind enough to work on it quite a few times until it was right but did not charge me the full hours. He is someone with excellent character and workmanship. As a young woman I think it can be really hard to find a shop like that where you feel confident. I highly recommend Mr. Bill's shop.
The owner is honest and kind. Initially, I hesitated to bring my old 98 Toyota Camry to a shop that specializes in European cars, but I'm glad I did. I had the engine lights on and consulted a couple of repair shops. Some quoted me more than my old car's market price, while others offered cheaper prices but couldn't fully fix the issue. The engine light came back on shortly after. I was losing hope, but the owner of this shop saved my car without breaking my bank account. He did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price, and my car has been running smoothly ever since.
Caution if you are a seller taking the car for inspection. The owner said everything’s fine with the car but told my buyer that she’ll find something much cheaper, which is not true, and ruined the deal. That was just so so so mean.
Bill does the job correctly the first time and will give you a very fair price. Some mechanics will tell you that you need work that absolutely does not need to be done, or that you need to do maintenance that is not near due to be done. If he tells you your brakes need to be done, he’ll tell you how many miles you have left before it absolutely needs to be done. He’s not gonna upsell you for pouring some fuel additive into your car. If you need some kind of additive or could benefit from it then he will just tell you what fuel additive to buy and to port it into your gas tank. Honest work from an honest man.
