I have to give one star to the 7-Eleven for the fact that the owner does employ a security guard for his employees. My ex used to work at a 7-Eleven on Cherry avenue in Carson Street in Long Beach and he worked what I call the riff Raff hours. The owner of that store did not really care for his employees of well-being because he did not hire a security guard, subsequently my ex-husband was robbed with a gun. Here comes the fun part of my review. Without beating around the bush, the security guard that was on duty tonight around 1:00 1:00 a.m. Christmas night to me but next day, is the reason I'm not giving you four other more stars. I will write a second review and maybe give you some more for your day crew. I'm going to think about it. My attitude derived because your guard spoke with a nasty bark towards me. I am white, I am also a senior disabled. I am not entitled in the least. I invite you to please refer to your cameras to see who I was there. I had a scooter an electric scooter I came in on at 1:00 in the morning to purchase a Coca-Cola. I went in the store went directly to the right grab the coat backed up and was ready to go around to the front of the counter where the cashier was. If you want to ask me I did not look like I was a problem as if I'm going to come in there and be a thug or steal or this or that because the side of the bike I was on I couldn't lift anything if I wanted to. Discard spoke down at me in a manner I didn't need to be spoken to in requesting me to not take my scooter to the cashier. I just about had enough of people in their rudeness to others here in this city. My actions did not warrant the way that man spoke to me and I let him know it too. And I wasn't going to leave my scooter by him because he's too busy on his damn phone playing a game or something and he would not be responsible for my scooter being stolen and this is my third scooter I bought at $400 a pop I'm on a fixed budget. White I might be but entitled, oh hell to the no one entitled. So since he was going to be nasty I thought well I'm going to just stay here and be right by him and they can come and get my can of Coke and I'll pay for everything there because the hell if I'm going to leave my scooter. Well the cashier finally took care of everybody that you know was ahead of me or not ahead of me but became ahead of me cuz I wasn't at the counter I told the cashier I have a Coke here and I gave him my credit card and my dollar bill. He told me I had to go to the front of the desk there to pay for my purchase I told him I could not because I refuse to leave my scooter in the guard will not let me go there. The guard, I don't know what Mr wonderful's problem was but he had to chime in again saying do whatever he has to do to get her out of here. I'm going to suspect that he is judgmentally racist because there was nothing about me that he had to be nasty about with his nasty mannerism. If I have to sit there and be treated like crap or spoken to like crap and spend money I'll take my money elsewhere I don't need to spend money for somebody to treat me like he did. It's too bad his attitude caused me to make this type of a review because the people in the daytime have been really very nice to me and the few times I've been there on my scooter. Had I been a guy or I've been doing something that was looking like it's suspicious or I wasn't any good then I can understand him needing to be strict in his voice and talking but I did nothing. Again I invite you to please review your video of what the time I was in there it was about 1:00 a.m. on 12/26. Take note the guard being very intrigued with his phone.
This is consistently the worst 711 in downtown Los Angeles. It is always understocked. Coffee urns empty or cold. No creamer packs or sugar substitutes. Machines often out of order.
Love the ideas, the iced coffee and the prices and deals they have, and the points I get every time I put in my phone number.
Why does it say 24 hours if it's closed from 3am to 6am? They should put the information correctly.
The security guard uses the homeless to do his job, and the guy he used stole my bird. Definitely making a complaint to corporate.
