I am writing this review to share my disappointing experience with a manager, Ana Horta. I visited the store to return an item I purchased the previous evening using my card. While I understand that returning an item without a receipt may be against company policy, and I would have respected that policy if it had been explained professionally, the issue was not the policy itself—it was the manner in which it was handled. Before it was even my turn, Ms. Horta was speaking with coworkers while customers waited in line, without acknowledging us. Her demeanor made the environment feel unwelcoming and uncomfortable. When she finally assisted me, her communication was dismissive and lacked basic customer service courtesy. She informed me that she could not process the return and instructed me to come back the following day to speak with a bookkeeper. As a result, instead of resolving a straightforward return for an item purchased less than 24 hours earlier, I now have to make an additional trip. Professionalism, courtesy, and clear communication are essential in customer-facing roles—especially in management positions. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as the experience did not reflect positively on the store’s standards of customer service.

Pharmacy has had a broken counter for years. Cant even be bothered to fix it. It's a leaning partition. They just look cheap and unprofessional. You cant even fix a counter, and you want me to trust you w my medication? Not anymore. Half the store is under lock and key, making it a hassle to get most things....v simple items.

Update: I went again most recent to cash another check that was a very low amount. Before asking to cash the check I waited in line then was told to go to another registrar and have to wait 10mins more. After waiting patiently in line. Then to be charged a tender fee which is odd from the representative Enrique to do when they do surge charges only as well it is under a huge amount. Both Ana and Enrique need re training. There professionalism is not to par. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Update: God bless the BookerKeeper Susan. She is truly a blessing from God. Her kindness, understanding, and respectful customer skills are greatly valued. You helped me get thru an error that someone else created. Thank you for your hard work. ⭐️ Spoke to a Nancy around 5ish to 6pm regarding cashing a cashier check and have it verified. She seemed kind at first but once all said and done she changed her mind and stated there was not enough cash to be able to cash the check. Then advise to go to Vermont and 3rd st. Which I went multiple places and was told to go back to the place that verified because it was one verification. The young girl had a receipt printed and who know what she did with it. I left and came back around 7:10pm to speak her but spoke with Jasmin and she stated there was nothing and to come back tomorrow to speak with the bookkeeper. Very suspicious activity as well dealing with static energies. (?) Not the most professional customer service. Especially with finances.

If I could give zero stars I would. I've been doing delivery (paid) from here for a while. I am sent moldy fruit, expired breads, and am lied to about subsistutions (which I confirm when calling the meat department, the only people there who have any brains). Why, you ask, did I keep shopping here? There was no other delivery option close to me until recently. I have been threatened by a manager (she said she will show up at my house, and she knows where I live due to the delivery address), and constaly and given (my guess in intentially) wrong items. when you call they WILL NOT ANSWER, and I have been told by other employees there they will see the name from a person with delivery and don't want to deal with it. Do yourself a favor, drive down the street to Albertsons. Friendly, nice, and they actually care about the customers there!
