Switched from Costco to Sam's club. Worst decision.Blackberries had mold and the Food court food is cold and hard. Very unpleasant experience.Canceling membership same-day.Food quality terrible
This is starting to be a reoccurring theme. I always come for pick up at Sam’s. And I always end up waiting an hour. I’ve seen 10 different cars come after me, get their stuff and leave right after. This is pathetic. These are reasons why I’m starting to lead towards Costco over Sam’s.
It's a conveniently located wholesale club for me, selection has gotten better than before. However, the curbside pickup here is completely unreliable and unusable. You'll have to wait 1hr+ for your pickup order (it's happened to me 2x already), so you might as well just go in yourself and use scan and go. You can't go up to ask to collect your order pickup either cause the employees working it will ignore you or send you back outside to wait.
Avoid Curbside Pickup. Completely Unorganized! My boyfriend pulled up to a designated curbside spot and I checked in for him. He waited for an hour, and then I received a notification that the order had been picked up. Confused, I called him and he was still waiting. I called Sam’s club twice to explain that the app showed the order as picked up, even though we hadn’t received anything. Both times they said someone would come out, but no one did. My boyfriend asked one of the employees bringing out orders, and he said there was no order for him available. I drove down to Sam’s Club myself. One of the employees was kind enough to help, but when she looked up my order, it wasn’t showing up in their system. The manager, Anthony, happened to walk by. She explained what was going on and how my order showed as picked up but wasn’t anywhere to be found. Instead of acknowledging me as a customer or apologizing, he just questioned her about what spot we were parked in (“parking spot 1 or pharmacy spot 1”) and said, “If it’s not here, she can just go to member services for a refund.” That response was completely unprofessional — no acknowledgment, no apology, no accountability. Even if we had been in the wrong spot, employees should be trained to verify order numbers, not just hand groceries to anyone. I went to get my refund, and as I walked out, there were about five other customers also complaining that they’d been waiting a long time. I understand that rushes can happen, but a good manager should know how to handle pressure and resolve issues, not dismiss them.
Love this Sam’s, I don’t like the new system to get a whole pizza. Came on a Sunday and I placed an order for a four meat pizza at 3:29PM, but when I checked the oven as the worker said to, nothing. People were waiting in line, some who just ordered. I had to wait a whole hour to get a pizza. Crazy.
