What a great little market. Tons of great items not found in traditional local markets. The seafood aisle, also has a great variety and fresh fish. All the aisles, are pretty much organized.
The incident just happened this morning at 0930 on 1/7/2026. Cashier lane number 3 : I brought up all my items on the rolling counter. After I loaddd everything up, I looked around and saw a big brown bag in front of this Hispanic cashier . I asked her are we waiting for someone . She said yes. She said waiting for a customer before me to get some yams . Then I kept waiting for another 2 mins . Then I asked her can you put current customer transaction on the side and ring me up . And this is very common at Ralph, Albertson , Smart and Final. It’s not first time I go to market . I said in very polite way. This Hispanic cashier said NO RUSH. this line is NO RUSH. If you want , you can move in the lane 2, which I already unloaded all my stuffs on lane 3. Up to this point I’m like OMG what type of attitude with customer is this. Then she added on time is just perfect . No one needs to rush. Dude , you don’t know what time is meaningful to others if it’s not to YOU. You know if you got stroke brought in to hospital , there is golden time door to needle or door to balloon means to save someone’s life . I’m rushing because I gotta go to work to save someone’s life . They call it what goes around comes around . Next time if you go to hospital for urgent matter, make sure to tell doctors/nurses/pharmacists/imaging techs that there is NO RUSH to take care of you OKAY !!! To Management team: I did report to manager of the store , who is super nice and understanding. She said yea they already noticed this Hispanic cashier starts having attitudes with customers . Manager said when she first started , she was calm and helpful. Now more complaints have been recieved . I bet once she got offer full time position. Then the real attitude comes out . To HR: please reeducate this cashier if you don’t want to loose your customers and revenue . Put her in the back of the store to help loading and cooking instead . Cashiers are the face of the business . If you put someone with attitude , you’re steering away your customers. Next time will go to H Mart in Huntington Beach.

Kinda stinky inside but some great finds especially on ramen type soups. Great stock on little coconut pulp drinks, great selection of fruits as well. As a plus there is a good little food court right next door and some really great looking food places in the parking lot in general. This shopping center is definitely a hidden gem.
H Mart in Garden Grove is my go-to for top-quality ingredients, especially for KBBQ nights and fresh sashimi. Their seafood section is always stocked with incredibly fresh fish, perfect for making sashimi at home. The selection is diverse, and you can trust the quality. For BBQ, they have an excellent variety of marinated meats that make grilling easy and delicious. The cuts are fresh, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor. Plus, the side dishes and sauces available here elevate any meal. Beyond that, the store is clean, well-organized, and always well-stocked. The prices are reasonable for the quality you get, and the staff is friendly and helpful. If you love Korean BBQ or fresh seafood, this is the place to shop! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality Asian groceries.
