Shoppers say this Asian grocery store offers a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and seafood, as well as an extensive selection of Korean snacks and ramen. They also highlight the friendly and helpful staff, and the clean and well-organized space. Some reviews mention parking validation can be difficult.

Shirakiku is a brand known for its Japanese Ramune soda, a carbonated soft drink famous for its unique Codd-neck bottle sealed with a glass marble that pops open with a plunger, offering fruity flavors like melon, strawberry, yuzu, and original, providing a fun, fizzy, and traditional Japanese refreshment

I bought this at H Mart LA City Center and it was expired since July 2025 (best before: July 10, 2025). This is food—how does something like that even make it to the register? Honestly, I don’t feel safe shopping here if expired items are still sitting on the shelves. And to top it off, the cashier’s customer service was cold and unprofessional. I’m not asking for a smile contest—just basic courtesy. They really need to improve inventory/date checks and customer service, because this is how you lose customers fast.

Warning: the Korean old ladies handing out free samples can be extremely rude - and if you’re not Korean / East Asian, they are super unwilling to let you sample anything. I smiled and politely asked the lady in the photo , taken today, if I could sample an inexpensive kimchi - there was no one else in line and the store was half empty - and she immediately barked: “No!” at me. No explanation. Another Korean lady handing out samples a few feet away ignored me after serving a bunch of other customers (all East Asian) . I would also add that the kimchi and most other items here ( including prepared food, meat, seafood and produce ) are almost always more expensive compared to Ranch 99, which also has bigger variety overall (and friendlier staff). And the underground parking lot at B1 , as you’re heading up to Hmart, always smells like raw sewage - like, for years now. Have spent probably thousands of dollars here over the years because I live close by, and the non Korean staff are friendly. I also lived in East Asia most of my life and get that there are cultural differences in how people interact with strangers . But this is the US and it’s 2026 - get it together. Basic courtesy costs nothing

H Mart stores are always solid places to shop and this place is no different. Nice selection of Korean and Asian food and products.

Uber Shop and deliver here pretty straight forward just pay attention to detail and deals there are some less expensive items that are ripe then the major store brands. Has what you need for asian cusine parking adjacent to the shopping center if you use bluetooth to open your car reccomebd to park outside open air or near the exit as the concrete and electrical piping acts as a faraday cage for the car and your phone
