I have had an awesome experience with Dylan as a guitar teacher! He is super communicative, tailors lesson individually to his students, and is obviously very passionate about music and teaching. I would 100% recommend him to anyone wanting to learn guitar as a beginner, or to continue developing their skills as an intermediate, or even advanced, player. I started with zero experience playing the guitar and feel like I have built a very strong foundation and will continue to do so.

I chose LA Guitar Studio because of its great student reviews, and after a few months with Minsu, I know I made the right choice. He’s an experienced and well organized teacher who knows exactly what I need to improve at each stage. He keeps lessons engaging and motivates me enough to try to practice at home—which isn’t always easy in my late 60s! With so many online options like YouTube, I could have tried learning on my own, but I wouldn’t be at this level without Minsu’s guidance. I only wish I had met him 10 years earlier— my life would have been a lot more fun!

I’ve been taking lessons with Dylan for about a month, and I’m blown away by how quickly I’ve improved and how much fun I’m having! I used to dabble and teach myself here and there from YouTube, but working with a great teacher has made all the difference. Dylan breaks down difficult concepts in a way that actually clicks, caters to my love for metal, and blends theory, technique, and songs I enjoy into every session. I also really appreciate how he introduces me to other genres to incorporate elements that can strengthen my playing. Every lesson feels motivating and tailored to me, and I always leave excited to practice. I highly recommend Dylan (LA Guitar Studio) to anyone looking to level up their guitar skills!

I’ve always wanted to learn how to play the guitar. A month ago, I bit the bullit and started learning with Dylan at LA Guitar Studio. Dylan is attentive and encouraging. His studio is private and quiet, a perfect environment for someone learning for the first time. I didn’t know what to expect at first but I am having the best time rocking out with Dylan! I am looking forward to future classes and seeing where this will go. 🎸🎼🤘😎

Dylan has been a fun and engaging teacher to learn with. Being primarily self taught with many holes in my knowledge he’s been able to help identify where I can learn and is helping me undo bad habits. Been great so far!
