Went there for my birthday, and when I left to the bathroom to freshen up my brother had asked for desert, however they didn’t have anything. But the server and manager outdid themselves and gave our family the best dumplings. The food was amazing and the drinks were cold. Would totally come back here again!
Unfortunately I thought the New Jersey location was better, isn’t that surprising? The grill they use at the NJ location will actually char the meat you order, like the marinated short rib (galbi). They use the grill just like at all the local places, so it didn’t really wow me. The banchan was really good, they have the seasoned bean sprout one which is my childhood fav. The staff was really nice when we requested to have 1 BBQ dish and 1 other dish, when the BBQ minimum is 2 dishes. Thanks for that ! Still spent $90 after tax and tip. If ya have a car drive to NJ, but those bridge tolls add up…
This was a great dining experience for me. The food tasted great and the service was spectacular. Though there was a point where the cooking was unattended for a bit or the fire was just too high and it burned one of the meats. Nevertheless it did not diminish my enjoyment of dinner with a few friends. We ordered the premium meats, which was fresh and juicy, and the dry aged ribeye was ok (I think this method of cooking dry aged meat does not give it justice), and we also ordered "lunchbox" where the server will put on a show, vigorously shaking a tin can full of rice and other stuff - fun to watch. Definitely a must go.
The food and service here is great! We got the beef combos which came with the steamed egg and soft tofu stews. It was a lot of food and this spot definitely had us stuffed by the end. We also ordered the seafood pancake and it was very delicious. There were also a handful of banchans that came alongside the bbq and it was perfect. Our server was also very attentive and helped us grill all of the meats. Highly recommend this spot for your kbbq cravings!
