I’ve been coming here on and off for many years — this place has probably been around at least 20 years. It’s one of those old neighborhood sushi spots a lot of locals know about. This is Korean-style sushi, which is a little different from traditional Japanese sushi. One thing that makes it unique is they give you Korean spicy sauce to dip the sushi in, which actually adds a nice kick and a different flavor. Also just a heads up, this place is take-out only, so you’re basically grabbing your food and going. The portions are still pretty generous, so if you’re just trying to eat a lot and get full, this place does the job. That said, prices have gone up recently and the sashimi slices seem to be getting smaller compared to years ago. If you're looking for real high-end sushi, this probably isn’t the place. But if you want a lot of sushi for the money and a quick takeout meal, it still works.
I have been going to this place for a long time. Still serving the best sushi and sashimi. I have tried other place, but it's not as good as this one. The extra large that I have gotten was $115 and can feed up to 3 to 4 people. Place is cash only and take out only. Also you can customize your order too. If you don't like something you can let them know and they will change it and replace something that you like.
I honestly didn’t expect this kind of quality for the price! I ordered the $115 “Sashimi Sushi Roll” party platter, and not only was the portion huge, but the sashimi was also incredibly fresh and delicious — even better than what you get at most dine-in Sushi restaurants. When I went to pick it up, I was surprised to see four sushi chefs working behind the counter in such a small takeout spot — it really showed how busy and popular this place is. I picked it up in Flushing and brought it to a gathering in New Jersey, and everyone agreed it was way better than the NJ local sushi place someone ordered from there. Unfortunately, We’re in such a hurry to eat that I forgot to take pictures, but I highly recommend this place! Highly recommend !!
I’ve been ordering from this sushi spot for over 10 years, and they never disappoint! The staff is always so friendly, bringing smiles along with their delicious, fresh sushi. Consistently great service and quality! Highly recommend!
The best hidden gem of flushing n.y. With the price of meals in restaurants going up their price makes sense for group meals. Very delicious and the sizes aren’t shrunken like in other sushi restaurants. The staff are polite and courteous while busy at the same time. And more often than not they will add items that are “on the house”, I got hand rolled crab. Thank you!
