Nice interior spot that has attentive service. But food is nowhere close to being worth for the price point. Malatang is extremely spicy and inedible. Tangsuyuk was all fried batter and no protein, sauce consistency was entirely corn starch. Restaurant was empty, theres much better options nearby. Sad to be called korean food charged at this price point.
It’s hard to come by a place that does good jjajangmyun, jjamppong, AND tangsuyook, but Octo does all three really well for a reasonable price. This is definitely my new go-to spot for my Korean-Chinese food cravings. We split those three dishes between two people and were completely full with plenty leftover, so portions are pretty generous.
Had a really nice dinner at Octo on a friday night. Booked for two people and we were able to be in the private room. Soup dumplings were delicious, duck was so tender and the skin was crispy. Jjajangmyeon and jjambbong were very very good. I will go back to try other dishes for lunch as well. Thank you!
Amazing private dining experience on a Tuesday night in their Starry Night room (fits 12 people). I had a wonderful time working with Hazel and Christina over email, and Hazel + staff on the night of the dinner. Food was fantastic, we were all so full half way through the prix fixe meal. One of our guests was vegetarian so did the vegetarian prix fixe menu, another guest was allergic to nut/sesame (including nut and sesame oil) so ending up choosing some options off the normal menu. They are so accommodating and easy to work with. I will definitely be back.
My wife has been raving about this place for a while and she finally took me here! Very crisp and modern vibe korean chinese restaurant. It looks upscale but price is decent! Good service and the food i had may be one of the best korean chinese i had in the area. Strongly recommend!
