Limelight Pizza is hands down one of the best pizza spots in NYC and an absolute must-visit for food lovers! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the heavenly aroma of coal-fired perfection. Every dish is thoughtfully crafted and bursting with flavor. We started with the garlic knots, which were dripping in mozzarella and served with an indulgent vodka sauce—seriously, the cheese pull was next-level! The fresh antipasto platter was a fantastic addition, featuring high-quality imported prosciutto and perfectly oven-roasted peppers. We also tried their homemade meatballs smothered in melted mozzarella, which were incredibly tender and flavorful. The highlight of the meal was their Hot Honey-drenched After Hours pizza. It was a true flavor explosion, combining the perfect balance of sweet and spicy with their perfectly crisp coal-fired crust. It’s the kind of pizza you dream about long after the last bite! One of the best things about Limelight Pizza is that they’re open late on weekends (until 4 AM!), making it the perfect spot to satisfy your midnight cravings. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall experience. This place was once a church, then transformed into a lively nightclub where Johnny Depp and other stars used to dance the night away. Now, it’s a cozy pizzeria nestled in the heart of Manhattan, featuring cheetah print chairs and a shimmering disco ball. The pizza here is truly delicious.
Walking back from Chelsea market we saw this place and thought we'd give it a try. Before midday on Sunday, so quite quiet. Ordered the Meat lover and The Don. Both were absolutely fantastic. Because it's a coal oven the base is crispy but not dry which is perfect. Prices are on the high side, but worth the money.
Five star pizza ! Superb taste and i really like it. Fresh ingredients and new baked from the oven are good! Staff are helpful. Definitely will go back again. Credit card accepted. Enjoy!
Went with the original NY personal for a late lunch, absolutely delicious! Plenty of cheese c sweet, herby sauce, perfectly charred but chewy crust. A must have if you want to stop for a pie. And the 12in is the perfect personal pizza or a nice size for 2 to split!
