I’m a fried chicken connoisseur. This place fries the whole chicken the traditional Korean way. it comes out lightly breaded, juicy crispy BUT NOT GREASY. I haven’t tried the other variations yet as they were busy with a lot of take out, however just for the OG WHOLE Chicken, I’m willing to drive from Manhattan to Bayside just for this whole chicken. Man this was good—i just left the restaurant and had to write this review. See you next week!!
The location is very hard to find a parking spots but you can pick up food easily because the owner prepared pick up food in advanced quickly. Food is amazing. Chicken was very crispy and tasty. Pig legs( 족발)was very soft and tender. I love their food. I will go back soon again.
There is no service here. You order at the counter and is self serve water. The fries are normal and you can get them anywhere. I would pass on it. The chicken is solid. The mayo sauce is creamy and delicious. I was a fan of the raw onions. The Korean fried chicken is crunchy! We got 3 orders for 3 people and had plenty of leftovers.
Update:Yesterday, I ordered a whole chicken, a large pig's feet, and fried vegetables. It was delicious as usual, but within an hour, my husband and I were in the bathroom all night. Thank goodness we had Pepto. I don't think I'll go back. their chicken and fried potatoes. 😋 There's no place that has food like here. I recommend that order ahead a time. They are really busy all the time.
Dry and inedible skin. Spongey and tough texture that we couldn’t get through Flavor of the seasoning is good but there are many other better edible chicken places in the area (even the chains) The radish was fine
