Pelicana along Northern Blvd close to Bell Blvd and Oceania St. Went on a random Tuesday night, place was empty and lots of parking. They have Christmas decorations (went on December), I'm assuming they have seasonal decorations such as Halloween, Easter etc. Army stew was great! Chicken wings was also good. Service was good as we were the only group during that time. It can get crowded during summer nights when they have the outside patio open. Overall, great chicken wings with a variety of other Korean food choices and alcohol as well.
The Pelicana franchise chain has very delicious and consistent quality food. This was my first time coming to this location and the food was excellent. The atmosphere is very different here versus my local Pelicana in Forest Hills/Metropolitan location. It has a more sports bar vibe, with louder music and even louder conversations going on around you. The drinks and drink choices are plentiful and consistent across all the locations I’ve visited. Overall, this place doesn’t disappoint. It’s great to watch games, especially if you come with big groups. There is a lot of space/ seating. I would definitely recommend.
I came here for lunch, great food and nice service. they also have a happy hour deal. I enjoyed food and beer I’ll definitely come back soon w my friends!!
This one is for you Elizabeth. I placed an UberEats order Monday, August 11th. Crispy Wings 10pcs with Garlic Seasoning (tossed) and French Fries (S) with Cajun Seasoning. UberEats did their job, brought me the food on time. When I opened the food, the chicken came as crispy plain wings and NOT the garlic wings. I called Pelicana Bayside because this is their kitchen fault for not reading the ticket as per Crispy Fried Wings *GARLIC*. I just wanted to eat some garlic wings. Elizabeth picked up the phone, told me that I need to take it up with UberEats and ask for a refund I said “no I want to eat Garlic Wings.” She called back and said that UberEats should have reissued a refund which still hasn’t come. I said I don’t want a refund, I just wanted Garlic wings and I said I can come pick up because I don’t mind I live close by. She said word for word “you would need to bring back the plain crispy wings so we can swap you for the garlic wings.” Oh em geez. Thats like saying you go to restaurant and server makes mistake drops food on wrong table and people started already eating it.. you gonna take it back and swap for the correct order midway? This was handled poorly. I was not trying to get money back. It was your kitchen fault for this mistake and I made myself very clear that what I wanted was garlic wings, you failed to try and understand that and suggested for a refund from UberEats or come back with a half eaten crispy wings which I’m sure you would have just thrown out for a new garlic wings order. Aiyahh…. Thanks though for your apology and your willingness to get my refund from UberEats, sincerely.
Great place to go for Korean Fried Chicken! Lots of space for big parties. I really liked their chicken because it had great taste and texture. We got the platter and an extra order of wings, split between 4 people, and it really filled us up. The space is kept very clean and the staff was great! We came during lunch on a Sunday and the seats filled up pretty quickly. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and several of the orders were incorrect. I don’t blame the staff, because they were working their tails off and corrected the errors. But the manager should hire more staff during busy hours.
