Amazing experience here. One of the most affordable tasting menu's in NYC at $150 - especially for a Michelin star restaurant. Quality is amazing, the food fresh and cooked to perfection, seasoning on point. My standout dishes were the Caviar Kim, Uni Kim, Jook and Branzino. Staff is friendly and crisp in terms of watching and anticipating what diners need. Special shoutout to Tenzin! She is such a sweet server. I plan to come back in the late spring/early summer to see what changes on the menu but definitely to experience the Caviar Kim again!!

JUA offers a modern and thoughtful Korean tasting menu in an intimate, contemporary setting. There were so many highlights throughout the meal: the caviar Kim opened with decadent, punchy flavors, followed by the Uni Kim with deep umami and crisp seaweed. The mulhoe ceviche was refreshing with a good kick, and the abalone jook was hearty and comforting, if a bit risotto-like. The smoked branzino was a standout - rich, crispy-skinned, and served in a smoky, zesty broth - and the lamb with banchan delivered a fun mix of flavors and inventive sides. Dessert also ended things on a high with a bright mandarin–yuzu ice cream and a chewy, deeply satisfying goguma juak. Overall, the meal was beautifully composed and thoroughly enjoyable.

What a special meal - one of the best, more affordable fine dining spots in the city. Each course has its unique taste, leaving you both satisfied while anticipating the next dish. My personal favorites were the caviar kim, jook, and donut. Coming in, I was worried that my expectations would not be met, but Jua exceeded all of them.

The service, the food, the experience - everything is top tier. It’s $140 for a 7 course tasting experience with 3 “apps”, 2 entrees and 2 desserts. Some of the bites were the best I’ve ever had. The Jook, branzino and the goguma juak were my favorites. I think this is a must try spot! (They’re changing their menu next week)

Excellent Korean tasting menu for $140, the quality was superior for the price. Caviar Kim was a favorite, excellent amuse bouche. The mulhoe with raw shrimp was cold and refreshing, nice acidity. Jook was very savory and creamy, the branzino had the richest sauce, and the lamb was a gorgeously plated course that was a nice take on Korean bbq and banchan. Every course was perfect. Didn’t love the wine pairing, would have preferred a bottle of full bodied white instead. The atmosphere is a bit cold and cavernous, but overall great experience.
