I’ll admit I’ve never really been that into yogurt, but Pinkberry made me a believer. The service was fast, the options were easy to mix and match, and everything just worked. I ended up with a cup topped with sour worms, walnuts, and mango — not a combo I ever would’ve thought of before, but it was surprisingly delicious. The whole experience felt quick, fun, and satisfying. Next time, I’m definitely coming back to try the pomegranate flavor.
Honestly, I had a great experience. The person working was incredibly kind and very patient while I chose my flavors. The place has a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. I enjoyed it and would definitely come back for more. One of my favorite froyo spots.
I'm not gonna sugar coat it. Menchies and Sweet Frog is where it is at for me. A part of me does appreciate Pinkberry. The frozen yoghurt isd not worse per se, it's just different. Perhaps a bit more watery, but it could come down to it being more healthy with less emulcifiers and other garbage. Pinkberry has a really weak toppings game. It's really annoying having the attendant scraping and skimping on the toppings. Why not just let the customers choose how many topics they want? I really don't need to micro manage anyone over how many damn Kit Kat flakes I want. No sauces either, no nutella either, and no sugar free options, are all a miss for me. Pinkberry is also quite expensive for what it is. Besides the customer service being weak, this location is convenient as I live close. The best froyo I've found miles around. But like I said, I miss Menchies and Sweet Frog. Cheaper, more toppings, sauces, you can choose how many you want.
Staff is nice enough. It is unfortunate however that the sizes are such a scam because the staff are trained to skim on the yogurt. At first I thought it was just the small size, but I tried getting the medium and large and it was such a joke. It was like a small in a larger cup, give or take another bite. For double the price, at $11 what we're getting is ridiculous. Other locations seem to be doing better. I will update my review with it if I ever go next time.
After grabbing Japanese food, usually nabe or hot soup, I always visit Pinkberry to combat the hot, salty nature of the food — and it always is great. It is usually empty when I visit, which is surprising, but that is a plus. Today, June 14th, around 2 PM, the lady working was very calm, friendly, and gave generous toppings, which my friend and I appreciated. I wish I had gotten her name. However, the workers have been consistently nice in this location. Unlike the Koreatown location, this location takes Apple Pay. I will say the tables are not super clean, but it is cleaner than K-Town. The frozen yogurt tastes great always, and I will be back.
