Worked with a really nice agent however, this brokerage has false advertising. Typically when places have a special they will list gross AND net rent however this firm has a listing that is advertised at ONLY the net price and when you engage they hit you with a much higher price that you’re expected to pay monthly. This is very dishonest and misleading. Why not list both prices for price transparency vs misleading clients? Not ethical. Only Gave additional star because the agent was really nice but I’d give less than 0 for the bait and switch. Please fix listing prices and be more honest.
I reviewed an apt for rent. Everything in the write up seemed great. Then I found out by emailing the agent that it was a 5th floor walk up that Alex, the listing agent FAILED to disclose. Probably the most important piece of information a renter like me would need. That omission is just dishonest. What else are they not disclosing? Don’t use this dishonest firm at any price. They will just tell you what you like to hear.
Vadim was very helpful and professional. His service was fast and efficient: he showed me apartments on a Monday and everything was settled before the end of the week. My apartment is great and corresponds exactly to what I was looking for. Highly recommend !
(If I could give 0 stars, I would) I worked with an agent Abraham Bah, and he asked me for a $250 application fee, along with a security deposit of $1,600, for a place that was already being rented unbeknownst to us. The rent there was actually $2,995. The landlord does not even know who he is or who is actually listing the apartment as available when tenants are already occupying the unit and have been since March. Of course Mr. Bah pretends he is sorry and didn't know but when it comes to getting my money back, no response. I shared with him that this is for my spouse, new baby and I...as we desperately needed to move out of our current home for a better living space for our baby, and he took advantage of that. Disgusting. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE TRUSTING THIS COMPANY.
Nest Seekers rented us 329 Pleasant Avenue in Manhattan. It seems the agent Shelby C. lied to us about the condition of the building. We didn’t realize how many violations the building has and how bad the building owners and building managers are when it comes to maintaining the building.
