Just got my nails done on Thursday and got gel x nails and one of my nails already popped off, I’m so dissapointed because I told the lady if the gel x nails would still be able to work on my nails since I have a flat nail bed in which gel x nails are more rounded! 85$ dollars down the drain for my my nails to be already coming off and lifting I don’t recommend coming here for cheap overpriced nails !

I usually get regular pedicures at Sugar Nails as it is close and usually have s short wait time for walk-ins for a simple mani or pedi. I occasionally treat myself to extensions/acrylics for special events. I did actually walk in for this service, and there was about a 10 min. wait, WELL worth it! Tina is a TRUE professional. We discussed nail shape, I was sure I wanted almond, so that was easy. I was unsure on length, so we she pulled out assorted sized so we could compare. I chose a medium Gel X. I wanted something that had a mermaid feel to it, but not not a green or blue. This chrome finish was perfect, she used a pale white base polish, with a GW19 and GW20 (if memory serves) alternating to give my nails a mother of pearl look which I LOVE!! Minus the 10 minute wait at the start(which again, is all on me as I did not make an appointment, I was a walk-in)from start to finish the service took 1 hour and 5 mins. While Tina is not a super chatty Nail Tech, she is a TRUE talent, and is very good an intuiting what you are looking for. She was very gentle, and when she could sense my hands were tensing up(I have anxiety) she would tell me what to expect, ie - I would feel heat when the UV light was applied to fix the nails in place. When I was undecided on the chrome color, she suggested we just do both as one was a pink(warm tone) and one was a blue(cool tone). The images I included were taken on day 10 of wear, AFTER being at San Diego Comic Con for a week of that 10 days. No chipping, no jagged edges, the nails look NEW and they have been run thru packing, unpacking, travel, costume changes, outdoor activities, swimming, exercise, late nights, etc. I did do some after care, such as cleaning under the nails daily and moisturizing at least twice a day, but the nails hold up really well. I did have them shorted a little once I was back from vacation and they were a little longer than I normally wear. But the nails are still going strong and looking beautiful. I normally can't wait to take off nails as I am used to much shorter natural nails, but these are some well done I am enjoying them while they last. The price point was just right for the work put into them. I always have a good experience at Sugar Nails, but this was such a stand out, I had to review. If you are looking for a great nail tech, I can not sing Tina's praises loud enough. Honestly anyone on the team is great and you can't find a bad tech here.

I booked a gel mani at Sugar Nail Vermont on a whim because they were close to me, and my hands and nails were in need of some overdue TLC. I was so pleasantly surprised by their service! The staff here are sweet and attentive, and Sophia delivered exactly what I envisioned. She was thorough, quick, and highly detail-oriented. I wish I had taken before photos because let me tell you she gave new life to my paper-dry hands and cuticles 😩 Pricing was transparent and not only did Sophia exceed my expectations, but my nails remained perfectly intact for 3 weeks. I do heavy weight training and Pilates, wash my hands frequently for work, and even relocated residences, and they remained perfectly intact through it all. It felt like such a shame to get them removed, but after 3 weeks of growth, it was simply time to get them redone. I look forward to bringing more fun designs to their salon 💗
