What a fantastic wine shop!!! I stopped in for a couple bottles of wine, and the owner, Sara, was so helpful and friendly. Her wine knowledge is exceptional, and she made several recommendations for wines we hadn't tried before, and they were all a huge hit! She made me feel very welcome and passed no judgement on my limited wine knowledge - not always the case in other shops! She owns the store with her sweet mom, who was very friendly at the checkout. Great selection, excellent service, and supporting a local women-owned business. I've already recommended it to my friends in the neighborhood. It's definitely my go-to for wine from now on!
I cannot relate to any of the negative reviews. The wine selection is great, for the size of the store. They are knowledgeable and customer service oriented and any wine recommendation I receive is spot on. In a 10 block radius where I can choose any number of competitors, I repeatedly choose this location. Talk to Sarah, she's fantastic.
Fantastic liquor and wine shop! The ladies that run it are so nice and professional. Especially during times of covid they're so on top of sanitizing your bottles and your card before giving them back to you. I haven't seen another established that has this level of customer service. Highly recommend!
Visiting from Australia, I was fortunate to find this place not too far from our hotel. I've been in here a few times now and have found this to be a most pleasant and excellent New York liquor store experience. A great selection of wine and exceptional and very friendly customer service.
Incredibly rude service. Refused to sell wine to me because I knew a previous customer, who's wine was taken from her hands after paying because the owner took issue with being called out on the 15 dollar minimum credit card charge. I work right around the corner, and strongly recommend avoiding this insulting and short sighted business.
