Every person who has multiple pets knows how expensive it is to meet all of their needs. I, for one, did not take into account the cost for veterinary check-ups when I rescued each of my three dogs and one cat. Dr. Kim is very empathetic about my financial struggle and my need to maintain the health of all of my fur babies. My cat has polyps in both ears. I can’t afford an eight thousand dollar surgery to remove them. Dr. Kim allows me to refill my cat’s ear medication every month as long as my cat gets a yearly check-up and mandated vaccines. I greatly appreciate Dr. Kim. I also have a lot of love for Dr. Dima. One of my fur babies was a toy breed. I rescued her when her owner passed away and the husband didn’t want to keep her. Sadly, she was raised like an accessory in a purse since her puppy years. It made her spine curve and her back legs crossed. I never anticipated that her fused spine would eventually lead to gastrointestinal problems and pain. Dr. Dima did everything he could to relieve her pain during the last month of her life. The x-rays showed that her spine was fused in two places and it was the cause of her gastrointestinal pain. Dr. Dima did not insist on more testing and he kept expenses down. He was so compassionate toward me and my 13 year old little girl. Dr. Dima knew that she had poor quality of life due to her constant pain, and he prescribed medicine to keep her comfortable, but nothing worked. By the time I took her to be euthanized, she already had one paw in Heaven. I had never seen her so tired as she was that day. She was always a fighter, a feisty, 4 pound, bully, and lovable, beautiful girl who had no fight left in her. Dr. Dima gave me all the time I needed with her before he gave her the lethal injection. A tear flowed down his cheek and he mourned with me. Ridgefield Park Animal Hospital had its share of bad reviews about fifteen years ago. I don’t focus on that. My experiences with Dr. Kim and Dr. Dima are my reality and I am grateful to them for their kindness, compassion, love of animals, and empathy for pet parents who live on a limited budget, yet receive quality care for our fur babies and appreciation for our continued trust in them and the staff.

I was having issues with my cat, who was not eating for a few days and vomiting as well. it was becoming quite concerning so I needed to take her somewhere somewhat urgently. I was recommended the Ridgefield Park Animal Hospital and am very glad I went. I was greeted upon entering by Sabrina and Anthony at the front desk and attended to very promptly. After a short wait, Michelle guided me and my cat towards our room while we would wait for the doctor. Inside we were attended to by Natalie and eventually Dr Dima as well. Natalie especially was very helpful in explaining step by step what we will be doing with my cat Cardi and constantly checking in on us. Dr Dima was also very professional and very nice as well as helped by going above and beyond to help with my cat's issues. Overall, everyone, from reception to "checking out", was super friendly and showed great compassion for all the animals they worked with. They helped my cat recover from her weakened state gave her plenty of food and necessary medicine. I am very grateful for the treatment received and will definitely be returning if need be.

I love Ridgefield Park Animal Hospital. I travel from the Bronx without regret. Dr.Kim has been my vet for over 10 years with all my pets and is truly phenomenal. I recommend him to everyone I know who has a pet. Sabrina is awesome, attentive & always extremely helpful in every way; such a pleasure. Cannot forget Justin who is just as awesome in every way-- I will never forget how you conforted me and my daughter when we lost Melo! Thank you all at Ridgefield!!!

They do not rush you, they listen and do not ignore your concerns and provide info and support ever step of the way. Than you Dr. Kim and Dr.Dima for being so passionate about your profession and taking care of our pets as if they were your own! I have never felt rushed or confused after talking to them. I can’t say enough good things about Ridgefield Animal Hospital. After going to four different vets and paying incredibly high prices without getting the care my cat truly needed, finding this place was such a relief. Dr. Dima and Dr. Gonzalo have been there for me every step of the way, and thanks to them, my cat is doing so much better. Their knowledge, compassion, and genuine care really stand out. Beyond the doctors, the entire hospital team is exceptional. Every visit, they have taken care of my cat in the best way possible, making both of us feel comfortable and supported.
