EDIT: We are now in 2025, Jan 2. It is super cold and windy. I arrived 10 minutes early, and there was another elderly gentleman waiting in the cold (second photo attached). It's nice to see the response was so blatantly lip service/patronizing… if I could lower the stars I would. No wonder a brand new location is only 3.5 stars :/ Clients waiting outside in the cold (including two elderly people) while the staff pushed there meeting on the inside of the window until after the 9:30 start. They could have let them in to the foyer. I over heard the woman in a wheel chair say she was waiting for 30 mins, she was poorly dressed for the cold.

Avoid this branch at all costs as their employees are unwilling to solve simple issues and put the blame / responsibility on other BMO branches. YoungSim in particular lacks any customer service and troubleshooting skills based on my interaction with her. The branch also experiences heavy wait times - upwards of 20 minutes with just two tellers.

The branch does not know what they are doing. I was there to make a prepayment for my mortgage and they won't accept my cheque. pretending to say that their system was down after 20 minutes of coming back and forth saying that because my cheque was not from the same bank. The staff was friendly, but did not have the authority to do much.

Lauren Du is an exceptional personal banker who goes above and beyond to provide outstanding service. Lauren takes the time to understand my financial goals and offers thoughtful, personalized advice. She is incredibly knowledgeable and always ready to answer questions with clarity and patience. Even though this is not the nearest branch to my place, I'd stick with this one because of Lauren; and, of course, she always tries to save me troubles by helping remotely. Whether it's a complex financial matter or a simple inquiry, Lauren handles everything with grace and expertise. I'd highly recommend Lauren Du if you're looking for someone who will truly have your best interests at heart.
