Really great Poke! Eat here now! Great portion size, really fresh and flavorful ingredients. What I really love is how they first mix up the protein, sauce and toppings, and then put it on the base. It's always a big mess when I have to mix it up myself. Fast and friendly service, clean place. I'm definitely coming back here again. ❤️

I’ve been coming to this little poke spot for years and they used to be great, but lately they’ve gone downhill. They’ve raised their prices but now skimp on the protein in their poke bowls. I bought a four-scoop salmon poke bowl but the amount of salmon I was given only came out to 2 or 2.5 scoops! Plus I had to keep correcting the server as to what I wanted (I asked for mixed greens, she started putting rice in my bowl, I asked for mangos she started putting oranges in, etc). Too much money for too little food and mediocre service!

This has been my favorite poke place for a while - I order from them regularly on Doordash. This is now the second time they just left out proteins and the spicy tuna was like... Brown and slimy when I flipped it over. 🤢 Unfortunately I'm done with this Poke Republic. Don't get what you pay for and what you do get is questionably safe.

They drenched the bowl in sauce like a soup. I ordered a second time to give it a second chance, big mistake. I wrote the same instructions on DoorDash specified to put sauce on the side. Again, soup. I don’t know what person in their right mind think this would taste edible you can’t even see what you’re eating. Terrible and disgusting. Avoid this place at all costs.

Ok. Real talk. This is the best sushi spot in the area by a LONG SHOT. I have lived in Santa Monica for about 2 years and I have explored my fair share of sushi spots. I AM ALWAYS DISAPPOINTED when I eat sushi anywhere other than Poke Republic. There is just so much quality in everything that comes out of this kitchen. If you are readying this review, trust me, and trust everyone else who has left a 5 star review, this place is THE BEST. To top it all off, the owner cares, and you can tell. This is the type of local business you support 100%. Check out Poke Republic and lets keep this place around for years to come!
