Been a loyal customer to zzamong for years. It always hits. Love that you can choose your spice, I always go for 5 or 6 and you get a really good kick 😛🔥🍜🤤🤤

I cannot wait to write this review. This was such an awesome experience dinning here. I’ve been trying to find vegan jajangmyeon for so long and they had it here ! The food was delicious and the customer service was out of this world. They have a nice vegan selection and also tofu for protein! Will for sure be back when I am near the area !

Zzamong is honestly a ktown legend. Having come here for 10 years, being back again I’m shocked by how great the food has stayed and how affordable it remains. A huge jjajangmyun ($12, enough to share), small sweet and sour chicken ($12, not small at all), and egg fried rice ($11) was plenty to feed two very hungry people (w enough leftovers for dinner) The egg fried rice was tasty with a pleasant wok flavor, the chicken batter was light thin and perfectly crispy; recommend asking for the sauce on the side. And the noodles always hit the spot. Saw they have a lunch special w jjajangmyun, sweet & sour chicken, and dumplings for 14, will have to come back Love seeing all the locals who are clearly regulars at this spot. Hope it’ll continue to thrive for decades to come!

The Jjajangmyeon and Jjamppong sets are under $15, and there are also small Jjajang and Jjamppong Sets for those with smaller appetites. I had the seafood Jjamppong, Kkanppung Shrimp, and seafood Jjajang, which were absolutely delicious. The owner entertained the kids with magic tricks and origami. I'll definitely be back.

I love eating here. I bring anyone who visits LA here. I love black bean noodles and these are the best, the spice levels are no joke! There is a waiter who does tricks and really makes it such a fun experience. Huge portion sizes and really great prices! They also play really fun music.
