I honestly did NOT expect to be writing this review… but I was genuinely shocked. As someone who is Korean and has eaten at more AYCE Korean BBQ spots than I can count, it’s honestly hard to impress me. Most of the time, the meat quality is just “okay” and the ban-chan (반찬) is either bland or forgettable. I usually leave feeling disappointed. But this place? Completely different story. The quality of the meat was on another level — it tasted like high-quality choice cuts, not the typical thin, watery AYCE meat. And then I found out why: the owner’s husband actually works as a butcher at a meat market and personally brings in the meat from his other job to the restaurant. That explains EVERYTHING. You can truly taste the difference. His wife runs the restaurant and she is one of the nicest, most genuine people I’ve met. You can tell she really cares about the food and the customers. The crazy part is, I didn’t even bother taking pictures because I thought it would be like every other AYCE KBBQ place. Big mistake. Now I regret it because pictures would have shown how legit this place is. So you’re just going to have to trust me — this is no cap. The ban-chan (반찬) had so much flavor. It reminded me of my Korean grandmother’s cooking when I used to go over to her house. That homemade, comforting, real Korean taste. We ordered: • Beef brisket (차돌박이) • Beef belly (우삼겹) • Large intestines (대창) • Spicy beef brisket (매운 차돌박이) • Egg soufflé (계란찜) There were so many other meat options, but we didn’t even branch out because what we ordered was THAT good. And don’t sleep on the sauces. You HAVE to ask for their house special hot sauce. Mix it with the soy sauce — trust me on this. Also order the pickled jalapeños. It pairs insanely well with the meats. They also serve Korean alcohol, which made the experience even better. And for the ladies — they have flavored soju that tastes amazing. It’s smooth, refreshing, and goes down easy with the BBQ. Perfect pairing with the meat. They don’t normally push dessert drinks, but the owner was so proud of one that she gave us a sample. We ended up buying it — Sujeonggwa (수정과), aka cinnamon ginger punch. It’s a MUST try. If you leave without trying it, you’ll 100% regret it. As a Korean who is hard to impress when it comes to AYCE KBBQ, this place was memorable enough for me to finally leave a review.

Their service and warmth are amazing. I feel at home eating here. I’m obsessed with their marinated sauce. ‼️Must try the spicy marinated squid and pork belly. ‼️ I asked for the salad again because it was so fresh and crunchy, and they brought me a generous portion. Can’t recommend this place enough💯💯

From the moment we sat down, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. The food came out fresh and perfectly prepared, and the meat was beautiful, and it was cooked just right. The side dishes were plentiful and balanced the meal beautifully. It was my first experience with Korean bbq, and it couldn’t have been better. Everything about this place exceeded my expectations, and I would recommend it without hesitation.

This KBBQ is underrated! As a Korean person who loves korean bbq, this AYCE is the best restaurant hands down. I had high expectations after trying their banchan because each and every side dish was mouthwatering. Their meat quality definitely did not disappoint! I loved their spicy brisket, beef belly and large intestine the most. The meat was so soft, it nearly melted in my mouth and the quality was the same each round. They served a shot of a delicious housemade cinnamon punch at the end of the course. The server was super kind and friendly, she helped create a comfortable atmosphere for me and my friends. I'll be coming here a lot more often now that I know I found the best affordable kbbq in Koreatown!!

The owner and the employees are soooo nice and cute. They introduce the meat for us, help us to cook some of the hard one, and they teach us how to cook to get the best taste and flavor. I’ll always recommend it. Casual lunch, casual friend reunion, birthday and all that. It’s really awesome.
