My experience at Popeyes was good overall. The staff were friendly and helpful, and my order was prepared quickly. The food was hot, fresh, and flavorful. The restaurant also seemed clean and organized, which made the visit comfortable. I enjoyed the meal and would come back again.

My phone was stolen inside this Popeyes location during a very narrow and clearly defined timeframe while I was waiting for my order. I had the phone in my pocket, and shortly after noticed it was gone. After I left, I used Apple’s “Find My” from my computer and the phone continued showing at this exact location during hours of operation, with frequent location updates. The phone also showed as powered off shortly after it went missing. I did not power it off.

This phone is an essential tool required for my work, and its loss has a direct impact on my ability to earn income. Security cameras are present in the restaurant. I requested that the footage be reviewed or preserved to help identify what happened. The store manager refused to review or preserve the footage, despite the clear timeframe and the time-sensitive nature of the situation. I was told the footage would not be checked because they needed to “protect the business.” I documented everything and filed a police report. The refusal to cooperate or preserve footage materially harmed my ability to recover stolen property that went missing on their premises. This is a serious safety and accountability concern. I expected basic cooperation in a situation involving theft, but unfortunately received none.

On 8/15/2025 I visited the Hollywood CA 90028 location. I ordered a 5 piece chicken tender box but when I got home and opened the bag I found nothing but crunchy bread crumbs, only about two of them actually had chicken in them, what a disappointment! It only got worse, when I tried to get a refund after interacting with their virtual support team they only offered me a $5 coupon to use towards my next purchase. I declined because I paid $14.80 plus tax, paid for street parking and walked 3 blocks for this, so wanted a full refund at the least. So they said they would expedite my issue to their franchise store manager and they would get back to me in one week but they never did. Then I emailed the lady virtual team member I communicated with even he stopped responding. So I ended up disputing the charge with my banking institution. Lesson: check the bag before you leave because if I had, I would have never left the store with that garbage. UPDATE: Thanks for taking the time to read my review. As you have requested, I have added all the detailed screenshots of communications I saved from the incident. As you mentioned calling the store, I had called the store several times back then but no one ever answered the phone.

DON’T EVER COME TO THIS POPEYES!!!!!!! I come everytime to this store because it is the closest to my house but EVERY SINGLE TIME I order 4 pcs Chicken Signature and they give to me 4 TINY PIECES OF BLACK CHICKEN, NEVER A BREAST, always ONLY drumsticks or wings. I think these guys KEEP THE BIG PIECES FOR THEMSELVES! I mean, this is a 20$ meal, not a 10$ or 5$ one, and this is what they will ALWAYS SERVE TO YOU!!! Service SO MEAN when you ask them for something, despite I’m ALWAYS so nice to these guys because I work in customer services too and I know it is not easy. I guess I have to start giving to them the same treatment that they give to me. I was so hungry that’s why I only took pictures of the chicken bones LMAO but you can tell it is 2 CHICKEN LEGS, 1 WING, 1 THIGH FOR 20$!!!!!!! Do yourself a favor and NEVER EVER COME TO THIS LOCATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
