We stopped in for a late dinner last night and were greeted by a lively atmospher it's clearly a popular spot, so expect a line around 8 pm, but it moves steadily. The food is absolutely the star here. We ordered their famous soft seafood tofu soup and their abundant Kalbi short ribs, both of which were fantastic and lived up to their reputation. We also got to try two soups with different spice levels, which was perfect for our group. The service was very fast and responsive; every time we needed something, a staff member was there promptly. While the waitstaff seemed to be native Korean speakers and were a bit hard to communicate with at times, their efficiency and attentiveness more than made up for it. Overall, this is a great, authentic choice for a satisfying family or group dinner. We'll be back for the Kalbi and tofu soup! Just be prepared for a crowd during peak hours.
Everything was delicious and served hot. The kimchi soft tofu soup was rich and comforting, and the spicy pork bulgogi was flavorful. The banchan (side dishes) are a highlight, especially the seasoned cucumber and fish cake. The place gets busy in the evening, but the wait is usually around 10 minutes and totally worth it.
As the name indicates, so many vegetables to choose from. Just so healthy and delicious. For me it has enough flavor that doesn’t need extra sauces.
Maybe it was because we came in after a long drive and everyone was hungry, but the tofu bowls really hit the spot and the bibimbap bowls (yes, in metal bowls) were pipin' hot! And abundant! All 8 of us were satisfied.
