I'm a korean American and lived in US for decades. This is probably the worst korean food I ever paid for. Please non Koreans, do not think this is a typical korean food. we had YookGejang, Bibimbab, and Spicy pork. Taste was blend. The visual was nothing like the pictures. Yookgejang didn't have red pepper oil. Banchans were blend and didn't look appetizing. Never again.
Not very good, just average. Only Hannam Supermarket staff, elderly and solo diners seem to frequent this food court inside the Hannam Supermarket. There are 3 stalls; Korean (boon shik), Japanese (rolls and rice dishes) & Chinese (jjajang, tangsuyuk, jjambong). We tried all 3 several times and the conclusion is for us, Koreans, these are a pass unless you're famished and desperate. Westerners seem to love it though, so good on them.
This restaurant's pollack stew is so good for its price. The pollack inside is very fresh and the taste of vegetables and fish is harmonious. I strongly recommend it.
I was pleasantly surprised at the value of what I got when I tried their fried shrimp rice. It was also cooked different than anything I tasted like that before, and the more I ate it, the more pleasant surprise and satisfied I was.
Excellent spicy pork, hot and delicious.
