I love this place. Would come here often when my bf was working at a nearby construction site. Recently started coming again 100/100. Lady that took our order was friendly and energetic. The food is delicious 😋

This is the friendliest Korean restaurant in L.A. My sister has a disability and uses a wheel Walker,so whenever possible, they sit in the front, move a chair to make room for her Wheel Walker, and even open the restroom door for her when she needs to go. This kindness is something you won't find at any other Korean restaurant. And the food is delicious. Food are not fancy but you can taste of real traditional Korean Food.

Myeongdong Kyoja has been a staple in the same location for years, specializing in Korean-style noodle soups (kalguksu). Their signature kalguksu comes with chewy, uniform noodles and a rich, thick broth served with ground beef — deeply flavorful and satisfying. The anchovy kalguksu offers a lighter, cleaner taste with a refreshing broth that’s equally impressive. The cold spicy noodles (hoe bibim guksu) are made with chlorella noodles and have a well-balanced mix of sweet, spicy, and tangy flavors. The side of beef broth served with it is also excellent. Portions are generous — almost like a double serving at other places — and they offer a free bowl of rice if you’re still hungry. In my opinion, this is one of the best places for kalguksu and Korean noodles in Koreatown. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic flavors and hearty portions.

Samgyetang(Korean style chicken stew)was written on the signboard in korean, so I came to eat Samgyetang. The price is quite expensive, so I hope you know. There are glutinous rice, ginseng and green onions in Samgyetang(Korean style chicken stew), and there are no other ingredients such as chestnuts. Overall, the taste is not strong, so it's good. The side dishes are clean. I'm curious about other dishes. I heard that there were a lot of people at lunchtime, but there were quite a few people in the evening. The surrounding atmosphere is dark. They gave me the soybean soup for the dessert and it was so delicious

Stumbled upon this place because the line at BCD was too long. Immediately knew this was an authentic place given the sign was in Korean and everyone (staff plus guests) were speaking Korean. The food was great and tasted like home cooking. Not overly salty or oily. Staff were very friendly and prices were fair
