On a chilly rainy day, all you want is something warm and comforting — and this classic Korean spot has an insanely fresh seafood noodle soup that hits the spot! 🤯 🦐 Seafood Hand-Cut Noodle Soup The broth is rich, savory, and gently spicy. The noodles are freshly made hand-cut noodles — silky, chewy, and great at soaking up the broth. They’re packed with seafood flavor, and the soup warms you from the inside out. It’s not overly spicy, but it makes your whole body feel cozy. 🥰 🐂 Beef Tripe & Beef Intestine Hot Pot This hot pot is loaded with ingredients: tofu, glass noodles, beef brisket, beef tripe, beef intestine, enoki mushrooms, and veggies. The tripe has a great chew, and the broth really brings out its natural aroma. The intestine is tender and almost creamy — perfect with rice. 😋 🥟 Dumpling + Blood Sausage Combo We got the chive-pork and kimchi-pork dumplings. They’re handmade, generously stuffed, and the wrappers are super chewy. The pork tastes fresh with a strong savory flavor, plus a little kick from the kimchi. 🤩 🅿️ Parking It’s not in the core K-Town area, so parking in the plaza is super easy and convenient. 🙌
The Food: A nice little Korean food stop known for its specialized soup menu. The Menu: I ordered the Yangji Sulungtang (Brisket Ox Bone Soup). The Taste: It tasted good—the broth was savory and the brisket was tender. The "Signature" Style: Just be aware, they use a little too much green onions (large cuts of scallions) which is their signature style. If you love green onions, it's great; if not, it might feel like an overload, but it was still overall good food. Logistics: Parking: A big plus is that parking is free in the plaza lot. Availability: However, the lot is a little bit limited (shared with other shops), so you might have to wait for a spot during busy hours. Verdict: A solid spot for a warm, comforting bowl of soup. Just expect a mountain of green onions in your bowl!
This place is amazing. We ordered their signature braised beef ribs — the meat was so tender it practically fell off the bone. The veggies soaked up all the flavor from the broth — pumpkin, enoki mushrooms, glass noodles, and rice cakes were all super tasty and full of that rich soup flavor. So comforting! 📎 The beef soup itself was really fresh and flavorful, with plenty of ingredients. 📎 I also have to give a shoutout to the kimchi — it’s seasoned exactly the way I like it!
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Visited Yukdaejang K-Town on a Saturday night with 3 friends. We were lucky to walk in and get a table right away. Budae Jjigae (Korean Army Soup) – $47.99 Packed with spam, sausage, tofu, rice cakes, mushrooms, and noodles. Rich, flavorful, and comforting—perfect for a chilly evening. Steamed Bossam (Small) – $21.99 Tender, smoky, and juicy. Paired with lettuce and sauce, it’s not greasy and very satisfying. Portions are generous, flavors authentic, and the menu has plenty of other options like braised short ribs, cold noodles, and dumplings. Great spot for Korean comfort food in LA! Tip: It can get busy on weekends, so reservations are recommended.
Love the beef intestine trip soup so much! I tried the seafood food and it was also awesome. They have a promotion for dumplings and blood sausage. The service was great and we look the atmosphere in the restaurant.
