I stopped by for lunch on a weekday thinking it wouldn’t be too busy—but the place was already packed shortly after opening, with nearly every table filled and Korean being spoken all around. That’s always a good sign. The space isn’t large, but it feels right: clean, tidy, and welcoming. You can tell the ingredients are fresh, and there’s a sense of care in how the food is prepared—something that goes beyond just flavor. We ordered three dishes, all standout: 27. Maeun Deung-Galbi Jjim (Spicy Braised Beef Short Ribs) The portion was generous—five large beef ribs served with pumpkin, rice cakes, and potatoes, all simmering together. The staff kindly offered to cut the ribs and pumpkin into bite-sized pieces, and they did it carefully, making everything easy to eat. The meat was fall-apart tender and well-seasoned, without being overly rich. But the highlight: adding the melted cheese on top. Watching the cheese stretch over the ribs was worth it alone—so aromatic and satisfying. At $55, this pot easily feeds three people. Great value. 13. Wang Galbi Tang (Premium Beef Rib Soup) The broth was clear yet deeply flavorful, clearly slow-simmered for hours. The beef rib was so tender it fell off the bone with a gentle nudge of the chopsticks. Comforting and wholesome. 8. Seok Uh Sulung Tang (Beef Tongue & Brisket Soup) A milder, clean-tasting soup packed with thinly sliced beef brisket, cheek meat, knee cartilage, and glass noodles. The beef tongue was tender, and the cartilage had a nice chew. A dash of the provided black pepper and salt brightened the flavors perfectly. We also tried the meat dumplings—thin skin filled with pork and chives, simple but well-made. This isn’t a flashy spot, but the food feels sincere and hearty. If you appreciate honest, homestyle Korean cooking, this place deserves a visit. Parking: street parking available, or $3–$4 valet in the plaza.

This place is truly a local gem. If you’re looking for real, authentic Korean food, this restaurant delivers in every way. You can taste the difference the moment your meal arrives—everything is made with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients, and it really shows. The standout for me is the gukbap. There’s a warmth and affection in every bowl that feels like something straight from a Korean home kitchen. It’s the kind of comfort food that hugs you from the inside out—rich broth, perfectly balanced flavors, and ingredients that taste like they were prepped just hours before. And don’t even get me started on the lunch specials—they are unbelievably worth it. Generous portions, great variety, and prices that make you feel like you’re getting way more than you paid for. It’s become my go-to midday spot because the quality and value are unbeatable.

Found my favorite Korean soup spot in K-Town! The Beef Short Rib Soup with dried cabbage is incredibly flavorful with fall-off-the-bone ribs. Also loved the clear yet rich Gom Tang and hearty Bulgogi Jeongol. Their half-half dumplings are a must-try too! Everything tastes fresh and balanced - not overly salty. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and great value. Perfect comfort food! 🍲🥟💯 #LeeGA #KtownEats #ComfortFood

Tried Gop Haejang-guk, Maeun Deung-Galbi Jjim, and Wang Galbi Tang. The Gop Haejang-guk was really good—rich, spicy, and no weird smell at all. The Wang Galbi Tang had a lot of meat, big rib chunks, super filling. Overall portions are huge and satisfying. Even the dumplings were better than frozen bibigo. Would go again for sure.

🍲 Beef Short Rib Soup w/ Dried Cabbage The biggest surprise of the meal! The broth is rich yet clean, filled with deep beef-bone flavor. The dried cabbage soaks up all the goodness — soft, tender, and flavorful. Every sip is comforting and hearty, perfect for cutting through any greasiness. The short ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender and full of beefy aroma — one spoonful and it’s pure happiness on a cold day. 🐮 Beef Short Rib Soup A lighter version of the classic — clearer broth with a pure beef taste. Perfect if you love something clean and simple. Pair it with a bowl of rice, and you’ll find yourself eating nonstop — one bite of meat, one sip of soup, totally addictive. 🔥 Bulgogi Jeongol (Korean Bulgogi Hot Pot) The aroma hits you the second it arrives! The beef is marinated in a sweet Korean-style sauce that’s super flavorful, cooked together with glass noodles, enoki mushrooms, and veggies. The longer it simmers, the richer it gets — and the leftover broth is perfect for mixing with rice. Huge portions, easily enough for 3–4 people! 🥟 Meat Dumplings Thin wrapper, juicy filling — the perfect pork and chive combo! Each bite bursts with flavor, and the chive aroma really brings it to life. Dip it in their house chili soy sauce for the ultimate kick.
